Samsung Q90 is by far best TV I've ever owned....
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I normally go for 2-3k price range "Magnolia" year end models.....and always found great TV's........this time I just couldn't take my eyes off the QLED 75"......I looked at the Q70 but noticed the Q90 was brighter with a smoother screen....almost looked wet......never thought I would spend $4500 on a tv......but I'm very happy with this model. You can see the clarity from any angle and when people are over they always rave about the clarity. This TV is perfect for rooms with lots of light. The picture is incredible and the functionality of remote is great too. Trust me.....don't short change yourself......Q90 is only way to go....unless you are gonna drop a lot more dough for deeper blacks with OLED....but those are horrible for rooms with light.

Samsung Q90R
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome picture. I had to start watching my movie collection over again. I am not sure how it could get better. At just shy of 100lbs, you will need someone to help mount it on a wall safely.

Not so sure about 1 connect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV replaced a Sony 75 inch that went out on me several times. Fortunately I bought the extended warranty. Prior to the Sony, I had all Samsung equipment, but Samsung's (Not Best Buy) customer service screwed me over. I went with Sony because the quality was supposed to be as good as Samsung, but that proved to be wrong. I went with the QLED for the replacement. The picture is fantastic, clear and the colors are bright. The sound level is left to be desired. If I have a fan on I have to have the value level in the 90's to hear it over the fan. I also run all of my electronics through a Yamaha receiver, and there are delays in loading the TV, and at times it's like it loses connection. Though it's only momentary losses, it's very aggravating. My set up is, cable, Blu Ray, and Chromecast, goes to the receiver, then the receiver to the one connect box. If I watch Amazon Prime, you tube, etc., I run it through my Blue Ray which acts as a Pre-Amp. I had this setup with the Sony TV with zero issues, but the one connect, I'm not so certain about. In fact, my previous Samsung had a one connect, and I did not have this issue.

Posted .hojo96,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
The delay you have been experiencing could be related to the HDMI Auto Detection feature.
You can easily turn it off by pressing Mute, Volume Down, Channel Down, Mute sequence using the smart remote.
After you complete the steps, the TV will not show any indication on the screen but will stop the auto switching.
Please reach out to us if the issue persists via one of the following options:

Unbelievable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got an amazing detail on this TV and am floored at how great it is, even several weeks later. I’ve had Samsung TVs for years now - all your tiny gripes with the quirks before will be gone. Had to upgrade my sound system just to complete the experience - goodbye old Bose optical, hello HDMI ARC. If you’ve ever gone to the section of the store where they have couches for you to sit and watch 5-figure TVs, stop dreaming and make it happen in your own living room for a fraction of the cost. I get that it’s still expensive, but I don’t see technology getting much better than this - just bigger.

Excellent HD TV!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far we have been amazed with this TV. The picture is super sharp and using it with DirecTV has been no problem at all. I'm not a video expert and haven't adjusted the picture since we got this installed via Best Buy Geek Squad, it has been that good right out of the box. The minor issue is that the speakers shoot straight down from the very bottom of the TV so conversations don't come in all that clear. Now, with a 5.1 surround system installed and a center speaker just below the TV, I can hear conversations in movies that I never heard before.

Gorgeous TV. Inky blacks, great color, looks great
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has exceeded my expectations. I have a LG OLED panel from 2016 and didn't expect the blacks to be as good on this unit, but having compared them side to side, this unit does a fantastic job with blacks. I never realized how much my OLED was crushing things in the background (stars, etc.) until the Q90 showed me. It also beats the OLED hands down in brightness and color. Tremendous television and worth the money.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My fiancé and I bought this TV together as our first big purchase. We did an open box one in store that saved us a couple hundred $$. So far we have had no major issues. The size and picture quality is amazing which I am a Samsung snob so what I'm saying carries some weight. My only complaint is that one of the items in the "open box" showed serious signs of wear. This was likely due to the repacking of this monstrous TV. However, the TV itself is great. My lady and I can't wait to start gaming on it with one of the new systems coming out the end of this year. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because when only one input is plugged in, the TV thinks this is what you want at all times so it will automatically switch from TV apps to PS4 apps etc.

Good tv
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I have been back and forth between Qled and Oled. I couldn’t resist the price of the Qled and I couldn’t rationalize spending $5000 plus for a 77” or larger Oled. This Qled has an excellent picture. Great for sports and live tv, but if you are watching movies make sure you put the tv in movie mode. If you do not do this it makes the movie look super fake and almost unwatchable. I watched Guardians of the Galaxy without doing this and it looked like they were just walking in front of a green screen. The remote is less than desirable. Really small with very few features. I guess I am just used to Sony Bravia remotes which are sooooo much better. Pros: Beautiful picture Great size Great price Cons: Remote

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the first time ever that I have spent over $1500 on a TV; too spoiled now, it won't be the last. I had always been of the mindset of good enough when TV shopping. Now, I am a believer in you get what you pay for. The picture is fabulous. The user interface is exactly I (and my wife) was looking for. The connection box being away from the TV is brilliant! It really should become the industry standard.
