    Backlight failed after 2.5 years

    1/3 screen is dim by backlight failure. This thing only warrantied 1 year P&L and burnt out at 2.5 years. I've owned 3x other Samsung TV now I am losing faith. Repair estimate is $1500 !!!

    I wish I had gone with the UHD instead, at home I can't see the difference between this Qled and my 6 year old Samsung... Also it was kind of depressing to see the tv that I bought on sale, dropped another $300 two and half weeks later...

    I think the in store lighting is deceptive as it's set up to enhance the picture quality. Then when you set it up at home, the picture isn't as crisp especially during the day. I think my LG OLED is much more impressive!

      This QLED Series offers several preset picture modes for easily optimizing your viewing experience:
      1) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. This is probably the mode you saw in the store.
      2) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      3) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      4) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.

    Don’t buy an open box

    Well got home and the screws were missing for the stand , called the store said they had some drove all the way back to get the screws got home and they didn’t fit . Ended up having to go to Home Depot .

    Picture not great off the bat and got worse

    Picture did not seem as clear as I thought it should be when I first got TV. Over time got worse with little lines going horizontal from top to bottom of screen. Service tech was out and had to order part. New part has not been put in yet, hopefully it fixes problem and do not have any other issues. Spent more money than I was going to on a TV, not worth it if it needs to be serviced in the first 6 months.

    Payment plan is great, but TV picture skips and sometimes voices don’t match their mouths. Not really happy with this TV expected more for the price of it.

    Regret Buying . . . missing key codecs, i.e. DTS!

    Nice picture, but Samsung intentionally left out a lot of video codecs. If your like to play videos from a usb or your home network you will very quickly tire from the "video not supported" screen. Heck, it doesn't even support DTS audio!!! Can you believe that? Yeah, she's what I call a "regretter" buy.

    The image Color spreads, shadows or delays when fast movements. Even my 6 years old noticed and thought something is wrong with the tv

    This product, after approximately a month, developed a red line tin the middle of the screen, that went horizontally. Samsung sent a person to my house to fix it; however, when he fixed it, the tv now has an issue with turning off by itself, multiple times over. The problem now is getting someone here during this Coronavirus pandemic and within the year time frame. Not looking to good.

    TV looked great for a few days. On day 6 a black vertical line appeared. It was within the return period which is very short so I decided to return it. Best Buy came and picked it up. The return process was very simple. Very disappointed with the TV as is cost $1,400.

    Power issue - TV unresponsive.

    This TV has severe problems then powered on. Then you turn on the TV it comes out of standby but no screen display only black. After that you can not even turn the power off, the TV is unresponsive. Had to unplug the TV from the wall in order to reset it. After this happened over 4 times in 3 days I returned the TV to Best Buy. I had contacted Samsung support and they said I should return the TV and get a replacement, that the issue was just a "glitch". I got a replacement TV and after 2 days the same issue has appeared again. Extremely disappointed that I will need to take back yet another 75" TV. Seems that Samsung should be issuing a recall for this issue, two TV's in a row with the same problems.

    TV talks while off, turns on by itself, shuts off on it's own in the middle of a movie. Starts talking at random times asking what you are saying, or to speak into the mic when nobody even has the remote at hand or has said anything at all. TV volume is low even when maxed out. I've haven't even had this tv for a month
