Was good for about 2 1/2 years

I bought this tv to replace an LG that was a 65 and i gave it to my son. The LG is 7 years old and still going strong. Ill switch back to LG now.

Love Samsung tv

If I could I would buy each Samsung tv and put it in all my rooms. In each bathroom and kitchen and garage including the closet. Everywhere would be Samsung TVs.

Don't waste your money

Hope to never buy a samsung TV again, piece of grabage for the price. Not to mention the picture quality has sucked from the beginning, image could be very dark at times

Display burned out after 3 months.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I little bummed. I hate writing negative reviews. Im one of the unfortunate people who got a lemon. I guess this happens to 2 out of 100. I bought on 5-5-20, and the display burned out on 8-5-20. One day, the screen just turned off! Long story short, it needs a new display. The local Samsung repair guy came out 1-week after my initial claim to try to fix, but he said it would be another week to get an entire screen for repair. 2-weeks without a TV! I called Samsung to see if they would authorize a new TV, and said their process is to have 2 attempts to make it right. I am NOT happy with this answer. After spending $1,700 during a pandemic, you would hope this TV would have lasted, and has created stress to keep everyone in the family happy. They didn't even offer a coupon/discount to go an buy another TV in the meantime.

Samsung has poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok so it is now 2021 as I write a review from a 2018 TV. In the first year the panel had a big dark area on the screen. I called support and I let them know the panel was no good. They had me do the trouble shooting steps and came to the conclusion that my panel was no good. It was within the first year, so Samsung sent out a technician and replaced the panel. Overall I was happy and still a Samsung fan. Ok so now here I am in 2021 and the panel goes out again. After about an hour with Samsung troubleshooting via text message they conclude that this is an “internal” issue and needs to be looked at by a technician. Only this time it is not in warranty. I get that warranties only cover a certain amount of time, but this is the 2nd issue I have had with this TV in 3 years. 3 years! I have lost a lot of respect for this company. I had been ALL about Samsung for years. First they lost me as a phone customer. Then a washer/dryer customer. And now finally TV. I Will never buy Samsung anything again. Conclusion: Samsung has sold me faulty equipment and will not fix it. I would stay away from ANY tv made by Samsung. I am going to go buy a new TV. Probably LG.

Stay away

It turns on and off every 2 seconds with no picture. Has sound when its on but doesnt when it shuts off. Had repairman come out and he totally replaced all the parts inside the tv but not the screen. Waiting now for them to come back today. Piece of junk. I have alot of Samsung electronics but going to change to another brand from now on.
