    DO NOT BUY THIS TV. After 3 months, it started malfunctioning and just turning on and off every 5 seconds. It is a known issue and now Samsung has run out of parts to replace it.

    Horrible! Had to get it fixed from Samsung 6 months into having it because it kept turning on and off, same thing happened last month and warranty won’t cover it! Barely a year old!

    Never again. The picture quality is good but every so many minutes there is a "mute" of sound & it only lasts for about 3 to 5 seconds but now I'm stuck with a 75" tv in my house that is crap. NEVER again Samsung!

      If the audio drops out issue happens when connecting an external audio source, like a soundbar, via HDMI, the HDMI cable is most likely the cause.
      We recommend you replace the HDMI cable with a High-Speed cable with Ethernet Channel, labeled as HEC or HEAC on the cable.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q70T TV and for your review. You can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Settings > General > Smart Features

      When you set Autorun Smart Hub to on, the TV displays the Home Screen automatically when you turn the TV on.

      If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. You can turn this function on or off.

    This TV was great, but after 15 months it no longer turns on. We only have this TV on in the evenings (approximately 3 hours per day) so it wasn’t over used.

    Very disappointed in this TV. Have always had Samsung TVS…and they’ve lasted 10+yrs. This is our 1st Samsung Smart TV with the built in APPS. Well after using the TV for 6mths we would get kicked out of an APP (ie: Netflix) periodically so we would just turn off the TV and/or reboot our Router and go back to watching a show. This became progressively worse, more frequent and now no APPS stay on. The only thing you can watch is “Samsung TV”. I’m going to be calling Samsung and chatting with Best Buy. Hopefully there’s customer service from one or both.

    Less than 2 weeks old and already issues with this tv. Connectivity, sound, and picture quality. Very disappointing. With what has happened so far I wouldn't recommend it.

    This tv is not a quality product from Samsung. The audio and video went out after approximately 18 months. I began having problems first with the picture and then with the sound going in and out. Then one night it stopped working completely. Samsung agreed to pay for the part however I have to pay for the service call (100 dollars) and the labor (300 dollars). The tv isn’t 2 years old! Samsung quality is not what it once was!

    We had the Geek Squad install our 75 inch Samsung TV. They said our cable company was sending us a poor signal resulting in a audio and mouth unsync. We have spent a month trying to correct this problem. Bought a new sound bar that was recommended for the TV. But where does the manual or Google searches tell you how to correct this sync problem. We finally figured it out today. Why doesn’t the Geek Squad know this and why doesn’t Samsung tell you the optimal way to set up their products. So frustrating. Poor communication with the customer.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q70T TV. I am very sorry you experienced sound delay issues. I am glad to hear that you were able to find a solution. However, if you continue hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a Home Theatre System or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay

      Please know that our 2020 TVs do have an audio Pass-Through feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay.

      To activate this feature on 2020 TVs, go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > set to Pass-Through

      If you have tried these, and your issue persists, please reach out to Samsung Customer Support so that we can provide further troubleshooting.

    Back Lighting is worst i have seen

    The only thing i would complain about is the Back Lighting in this tv. It is horrible. The light will not let the screen turn black and Bleeds into the picture. It is Blotchy and not uniform. Two thirds of the screen from the edges is like this. Store Demo: they show how bright and vibrant the screen is which doesn't depict how regular tv or movies are. There is nothing wrong with the bright and vibrant scenes. Be warned, steer clear of this model or Samsung models with this type of dimming. Or at least check into it before deciding.

    We just purchased this tv in November of 2020, and it has stopped working. I am told it is most likely the power board since the red light flashes, but the tv doesn’t turn on. Yes, I did all of the troubleshooting recommendations but still the same problem. From what I have read on Samsung’s help section (user help support section), this appears to be a common issue with this tv.

    Quit working after 4 months - wouldn't turn on and flashed blue. Samsung Care was a horrendous experience to work with. Best Buy trying to rectify the situation for a replacement. Message: if possible, do not buy Samsung appliances. If you do, make sure you consider the Best Buy protection plan, because Samsung will justify every way possible to not help cover their own warranty programs.

    Tv worked great had zero issues but then it stopped working and turning off and on after only about 20 months. Samsung tech support is absolutely useless. Didn’t contact me after filing a support ticket over 2 weeks ago. Currently getting Geek Squad to fix it. $2000 for a tv that hasn’t even lasted 2 years is a waste of money.
