I have two 4K TVs, 50+65, and thought the 4K was okay and wasn’t happy with Direct TV broadcasting. Some channels are great some are lacking to say the least. This 8K 75” is replacing a 1080i 75” which coupled with Direct TV was disappointing at times. This 8K picture with the 120 rate is impressive, often just beautiful and rich. In all the TV pictures I have owned this broadcast reception is as close to being within a movie theater event as possible. I have 8 speakers connected through the optical wire, but the tv speakers are fine. My only regret is that I didn’t go to the larger 82-85” version to fit fully within the fireplace enclosure. I guess I will suffer with the smaller screen for now.

GREAT TV. It is SO EASY to operate. I got rid of two remotes and 2/3 of the wires behind my tv and receiver with speakers. When you watch a Youtube video in 8K it looks like it is 3D. 5 stars........

This 8k television has amazing color and contrast; however, it has two flaws. I am on my second 75" unit and Best Buy is coming out to take this one back. The first unit had banding from top to bottom across the screen and dirty screen. The second unit has the same issues, but not as dark. I'd love to have this tv, but I don't have the patience to play the panel lottery game. A tv at more than $3k should be clean without the frustration of waiting two months for the delivery and back routine I'm stuck in. And Best Buy doesn't seem to think I deserve more priority than to wait another 3 weeks for tv number 3. I am going to try the Q90T just because I'd like to stay with Samsung's pedestal stand, their non-glare screen, and their sports motion technology. Now I'm reading reviews that say the Q90T has patches of dirty screen. I wish a local Samsung representative would contact me to resolve this issue. I've been a Samsung customer for 15 years.

I purchased the tv on the 25th of november 2020. I did not get the 4 year warranty because I thought hey I’m buying a $4,000 tv it should last at least 4 years without braking. I knew I was putting it on the wall up away from everything so no one needs to touch it and I had a a/c vent facing the wall so that it will go behind the tv and keep it cooler. But today I wake up and turn on the tv it starts to load and then boom the tv starts going crazy making this very loud screaming sound and the screen had lines in it and the picture behind the lines was frozen. The remote would not work and the only way to get it to stop was to unplug it from the wall so I did and waited about 30 minutes before I tried to plug it back in when I was on the phone with the Samsung customer support ( what a joke) and no stand by light or nothing. So they said I purchased the tv over one (1! Year) ago and that the repair would be on Me. Now I’m not crazy so I said ok fine it’s better then throwing away a $4000 less then 3 year old tv. No tech around and was going to be a blank check to Samsung as a credit card hold because they don’t know what it could be and don’t know how much it would cost or when they can fix it or if it can be fixed. So I canceled the tech ticket

I owned this tv for 7 months, it stopped working. Samsung could not repair it, nor would they replace it. They did give me a refund for for 70% of the purchase price. I have three other Samsung’s, one of which is 15 yrs old and works great. Newer is not always better...Samsung, never again.
