    Pretty good tv. The screen has a very nice, rich color and there are several apps. Using the menu to download apps took me a bit to figure out but I finally did. The only con I will say I have so far (tv was installed on 10/29/2022 so things may change) is that I wish the sound, when combined with the Samsung soundbar I purchased, had a better sound quality.

    Great TV - clearest one I have in my house. Sound from any TV is a bit disappointing, went with a Samsung Soundbar. This is my first time using the Tizen OS on a TV - it's difficult to believe there isnt a simple SOURCE button on the remote control to change from HDMI1, 2, 3, etc... Instead you have to choose a couple menus, or have something like Alexa switch for you.

    Picture quality is outstanding! As good as a sony we got for another room that was more expensive. We also bought a wall mount kit and has Best Buy install both. Well worth the cost for installation. Our guys were real pros!

      I’m sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the clarity of your Q80B TV. If you’re noticing blurring or juddering on the screen, try adjusting the Picture Clarity Settings to improve your image. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings

      - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
      - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
      - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

    Our den is now our favorite room un the since we bought our Samsung ‘75. So glad and listened to my wife and went that big. And The Geek Squad did a fabulous job installing it and the Sonos system we bought along with it.

    For the price there are much better TVs. The user interface was terribly slow, glitchy, terrible sound quality and viewing angels are not the best. Picture quality is good though. If you sit in the right spot.

    Fantastic picture and geeat features. Why only 4 stars? At this price point, i just can't give it 5 because the apps dont meet all of my expectations. The OS just doesn't seamlessly support resuming an app after turning TV back on. Samsung should fix this by just enforcing a standard boot process, or forcing 3rd party apps to close when turning system off.

      We appreciate your feedback on your experience with Samsung's Q80B TV. Please know you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Start Screen Option > Autorun Smart Hub

      1) Enabling Autorun Smart Hub automatically launches the Smart Hub when the TV is turned on. Navigate to this option to enable or disable the feature.
      2) If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. You can turn this function on or off by pressing the Select button in the current menu.

      To ensure your TV's OS performance is fully optimized, please also be sure you’re running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an update available by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now.

    This TV is amazing!! It is deffienlty worth paying a little extra! I paired this TV with the Samsung Q990b sound bar and i could not ask for a better set up! Trust me, you will not regret buying this TV

    This is probably one of the best TVs we’ve owned. Picture is fantastic!!! Sound needs a little work though. But the transition of colors, and the black…NNNNNNNIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCEEEE!!!

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Q80B TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

      If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.

      Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      3) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      4) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You can also go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings to manually fine tune your image.
