Easy set up right out of the box. Picture quality and color is amazing. Combine this with a quality surround sound system you will be immersed in a theater like experience. I paired mine with the Bose 700 surround sound system that included a digital optical audio cord which plugged directly into the port on side of the TV. Amazing surround sound experience. Don’t settle, get the best, you’ll be glad you did.

For this being my 1st EVER Samung TV Q80T it has incredibly rich and accurate color, pre-calibrated almost perfectly with no hint of color banding when viewed at the appropriate distance. Range of brightness and contrast is also great. Game mode is fantastic playing on a PS5 "COD" at 120hz 4K. i thought playing at 60hz at 1080p was good but playing at 120hz in 4K is a BIG GAMING DIFFERENCE i would have never thought that it would make u a better player but it does for SURE the reaction isnt delayed the color the Details is incredibly i went from getting 15 to 20 kills a match to Now 20 to 40 Kills on TDM for anyone looking for a great tv for Games this is for sure my Number '1" Best Tv There is no flicker on this display at all. There are options to strobe the backlight which can look great for certain types of content. This works in regular mode and also in Game mode if you look at the right options. This is similar to ULMB and other anti-flicker, anti-ghosting, blur-busting technologies used in gaming monitors. I do use Apps on the TV like HBO and Netflix Etc. all look fantastic when played in 4k on this TV using my Nvidia Shield Android TV. Pixar movies and Marvel movies all look amazing in 4k.

Love the TV - hate the remote

This Samsung QLED Q80T TV is delightful in its ability to restrict glare in my brilliantly bright room. I have a series of giant glass sliding doors to my backyard that make up the entire wall that is attached and perpendicular to my TV wall. I live near Las Vegas so the sun gets extremely intense through those doors. Although the QLED handles the glare very well, I had the Geek Squad install it on a high-end swivel wall mount so I can easily tilt the TV away from the glass doors during the day and towards them at night for patio viewing. It also lets me tilt the TV the other way towards the kitchen so I can watch the screen and bake at the same time. The TV itself does a masterful job at displaying black and shades of gray (main reason I chose the Q80T over the Q70T). I'm seeing detail on my favorite DVD and streaming movies that haven't been differentiated on my older model. I'm a huge sports fan and football has come to life on this screen. It's easy to adjust the brightness with a couple of menu settings ... which brings me to the remote. The remote - not a fan at all. Its minimalistic design means I spend way too many clicks into menus to adjust simple things like closed captions, input, etc. Still, I'd buy this set again in a heartbeat. It's beautiful.

Buzzing noise in Game Mode is unacceptable

Decent set for the price, unless you want to use it for gaming. The good: 4k content looks very good. Sound is great for TV speakers. Its hard to find a 75in set with a pedestal stand, and this one works well. The bad: The layout of the apps and menu bar is not so intuitive. There is not a single button or simple process to change picture modes without going through a few menus first. I prefer adjusting the picture settings in each mode, and then being easily able to toggle through them for movies, sports, TV, or games. Every TV I've had over the past 15years has been able to do that easily. This menu system is a step back. The Unacceptable: There is an issue with Game Mode, so when the TV automatically detects a game system and changes to Game Mode, there is a high frequency buzz coming from the back of the panel. It is very loud and noticeable. When Game Mode is turned off, it goes away, but then you lose the benefits of Game Mode. If you are looking at this set for gaming, I would consider looking elsewhere, as this apparently is a known issue that Samsung is not addressing. I am considering returning for another brand, rather than deal with attempting repairs and endless hold times on the phone.

I love this Tv, and glad I upgraded to this series. The glare reduction is everything. My tv is right by a screen door, and during the day with the light shinning in I can still see the tv. Quality is great and easy to use! The Samsung remote is clutch.

I am in awe at the picture quality of this TV. The colors are bright and the blacks are really black. I bought this TV because it was a full direct array lit tv. ...not edge back lit type. It was the same type of lighting as the OLED TVS, but at a more reasonable price. Watching this TV is addictive! On a FIOS service of course. Amazon prime TV service is great as well.

After waiting 10 years for the "BIG" TV, I finally did it! The Q80T was on the short list and checked all the boxes for what I wanted in a long term investment. - Great Picture - In the size range - Integrated features Picture - The picture is fantastic! I like the reduced judder look, and everything watched has that soap opera effect. Size - It fits nicely above the fire place. I could've gone up to 89", but that would've occupied ALL the space. Features - I ditched cable & satellite long ago. The Samsung App store has what I need (with some exceptions). BUT.... The annoyances are: Consistent WIFI connectivity and audio sync with Hulu on Samsung TVs. WIFI - The wireless router is 17 feet away from the TV and in line-of-sight, so the distance from the TV and walls/obstacles are not an issue. The problem is with the Samsung itself. It's not a simple power on / power off and WiFi is restored. You have to press & hold the power button when powering the TV on, wait for the QLED logo, then wait about 5-9 seconds for your TV to authenticate back on your WiFi network again. It's just a small annoyance, but willing to live with it. Audio Sync with Hulu - After a commercial on Hulu Live, the audio does not sync to the video but a fraction of a second. After doing some research, it's seems to be a joint issue between Hulu and Samsung; mainly Hulu. All other streaming services run just fine. It's only Hulu Live. And it's been going on for well over a year on ALL models of Samung regardless of how Hulu Live is delivered: direct app, Roku, FireTV, and so on. As a result, I have switched to YouTube TV and do not have any more sync issues. If you're going to get a TV, the Samsung Q80T is the way to go.

I bought this tv specifically for playing pc games on a tv, but for that it can get frustrating. It plays at 120hz-4k with low input lag and looks absolutely gorgeous. The problem is getting into game mode (120hz instead of 60hz) and recognize the pc. It’s a frustrating dance of unplugging cords and turning off/on the tv, maybe do a hdmi check built into the menu. However, the free tv service and Netflix/prime video is better than expected, picture quality so good I’m watching old movies I’ve seen over and over just because the image.

As advertised. Should definitely spend money for HDR and QLED or OLED for any primary TV's. Direct lit is important too. Refresh rate is good. I have in a well lit (but limited sunlight) room. Color s good and blacks are truly black. Keep room for a good soundbar in your budget obviously. Overall, a great TV in the 75" space.

So far, this has exceeded our expectations. The tv is great, we were deciding between this one and a Sony 75" OLED, and were steered to this one due to the price difference/and its ability to not have a glare, and perform in direct sunlight. So far it has done this and much more, and we are very impressed.

    Samsung 8 Series QLED - 75 inch

I already had a Samsung 8 series HDR LED and was really happy with the quality and picture that bad boy delivered. There were some blacks that came up pixelated but that was few and far between. I also on an LG eight series as well, and that is OK, but still like the Samsung better. However, this bad boy is the Crim Dela creme for me as far as TV purchases are concerned. I saw the model in the store and went back-and-forth between the 7 and 8 series, but knew that I was happy with my 8 series at home and I very likely would not be disappointed with this one. When it was finally set up by the geek squad I tuned into my favorite Game of Thrones episode, Battle of the B@st@rds I was completely mesmerized by the epic movie that was being brought to me in my own home by a 75 inch Samsung QLED. This TV delivers superb pictures on any channel so far and the 4K is what I would expect from a QLED. Also this TV comes with some perks like Apple TV Apple Music, etc, as well as some downloadable screensavers with music. I recommend this TV to anyone who is in the market for a 75 inch and wants to spend $2500 or less.

Excellent quality TV, great replacement to my previous 75 Inch Samsung. I like the refresh rate and app support that Samsung delivers. My only complaint is how slow Tizen can be compared to other TVs out there like LG with WebOS. Overall I like the picture quality and speakers on this TV.

Worked out of the box with an intuitive setup. Picture is great. Has some weight and will require two people for property mounting. Paired with Sonos arc and Sonos amps to in-ceiling speakers for full atmos experience. Went with QLED over OLED because of ambient light in the family room.

I orginally purchased the Sony 900h, but returned it when I noticed the motion smoothing was not good and caused a lot of stuttering and artifacting. So I decided to try the Samsung out and was very impressed with the motion clarity options. This TV is great for sports and fast moving shows. The colors are very vibrant and the details produced by the Ai upscaling chip are phenomenal. The colors and sharpness are a bit out of whack right out of the box, but I'm going to get the calibration to dial it in to my preferences. Overall, for the money, you cant go wrong with this TV and would highly recommend it for someone who watches live sports, cable tv shows, and streaming content.
