Samsung has firmware issues that still have not been addressed and The tv is just ok not great for the price. Samsung TVs have excessive stutter and judder no matter if it is in auto mode or custom mode it’s there. Sony has them beat with motion control all the way. At this point I’m considering switching to the Sony X95K nit just for the picture quality but I like smoother motion which Samsung cannot seem to achieve.

It's unfortunate to hear you're not fully satisfied with Samsung's QN90B TV. First, please do ensure your TV is running firmware version 1211.2, as this includes various performance and picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
I see that you've already tried adjusting your image for optimal motion performance, but I did want to share the following adjustments with you, just in case:
Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings
...and select the setting(s) that best fit your usage:
- Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
- Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
- Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.
