The proprietary Tizen OS doesn’t offer the number of apps, especially VPN, that media platforms like FireTV and GoogleTV offer. An in-wall Samsung One cable would also be preferable.

( 75 inch, had approx 5 weeks ) It truly is duel function: a piece of artwork on the wall and a great tv picture.

But software is crippling slow.. clicking around the apps, changing channels, basically doing anything but watching expect it to freeze and lag and show a bunch of blank screens for a god 5-10 seconds. The software crashed once on the second day of use.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on The Frame TV’s picture quality. If the image is too dim, please try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions, as these will automatically adjust your picture and may cause your screen to appear brighter or darker than preferred. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > turn off Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting
In addition to the several picture modes on your TV, you may also want to try adjusting additional picture settings if the picture you are seeing is not to your liking.
You can go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the TV settings to your taste with functions such as Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, Color, Tint (G/R), and many more.
You can also customize the brightness level of your screen between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
Please also make sure you’ve got the latest firmware version installed on your TV. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

It has zero reflected light which makes tv watching amazing. However, I would only recommend it if you're willing to buy the bezels and the $5/month for the access to all the paintings. Without the seperately purchased bezels, people can tell its a tv when in art mode. If you're not willing to buy the bezels and the $5/month i would not recommend this tv. But if you want an amazing tv with no light reflections, great viewing angle, and also a great decoration peice, I would definately recommend.

So I've been waiting on a matte screen TV for YEARS & this is the primary reason I bought it. With that I am very happy, however there are some issues. The first is the Smart Things app that lets you control the artwork. It's one of the worst apps I've ever used and theres a 50/50 chance you'll get past connecting.....you can change the artwork from the remote too but you'll need the app to add your own. The 2nd is the ARC and the auto on/off feature that turns in on when someone walks into a room. Both of these initially worked, but for unknown reasons only work sporadically now. No idea why. The 3rd is that when watching a dark scene, there are fixed light blotches on the screen. These aren't really visible in a lit room, but if you turn the lights out it's very noticeable. Still, until someone decides to make a matte screen OLED, it's worth if for the non-reflective screen alone.
