    TV Came Damaged and Best Buy Won’t Exchange It

    While this may be an excellent television, the one I purchased was damaged when I received it. Because I didn’t discover the damage until after the return period (which I wasn’t aware applied to damaged merchandise), Best Buy has thus far been unwilling to do the right thing and exchange it for an undamaged TV. I welcome them to contact me to work out a solution.

      Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
      1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
      2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
      3. Eco: Provided to save energy
      4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
      5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

    I ordered a tv on 12-5-24 that was to be delivered on 12-13 when I get a call on that day saying the “third party delivery” cancelled my order !!!!! A new order wouldn’t be delivered until 12-23 so I cancelled - no one knew what/where was going on !!!!

    While plugging in a S/PDIF cable 2 months after the purchase, the side of the port on the TV broke off. Very thin plastic. Now i can't use the digital audio. Samsung stated that it was impact damage caused by me and has "voided my warranty". I talked to 3 different people to try to get warranty work done, but all with the same result, Hard NO. Buy Samsung at your own risk!

    Its slow to load things even spotify takes a min. Also the cable tv isnt very pretty and i have upgraded cable. Some movies and youtube is cool but idk. I think id send it back if it wasnt so big. Btw i have fiber optic internet.

      Please keep in mind your TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.

      Here are some tips to help improve the picture clarity:
      1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
      2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
      3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receiver, IPTV, and set-top box to UHD or HD.

    never again buy anything from bestbuy! purchased on store credit card. and first payment they took the full price out of my bank. would do nothing for 60 to 90 days to process partial refund of amount TAKEN! instead of 12 months no interest delivered Dec 19th and took it out of my bank on January 6th. so no financing for 12 months! yes Best Buy has lost a customer for life. i am sure other Big box stores would been a better choice

    BestBuy was great about taking mine back. The s84d picture is not good. The color is gray, and movement pixiliates. The s90d is $200 more and WAY better.

    This tv flickers constantly. There is something majorly wrong with it. I have been calling about it but there is no fix yet. Now I am waiting for someone to contact me to repair it. I just processed on 2/2/2025 and the tv doesn’t work. I called about it just after 2 weeks. This should be refunded.

    I am absolutely loving this Samsung TV. I did not realize how large it was. I had to get a different stand to put it on. I do like the fact that the stand or feet are in the middle, instead of on the ends. It made finding the right stand easier. I considered mounting it, but decided to go with the stand. The initial setup was easy. I have a Samsung phone, so that made it even better. I already had a Samsung sound bar, so syncing everything together was pretty simple. It took about 30 minutes for me to get everything set up and connected. Now for the picture quality. The picture is amazing. I feel like I can reach out and touch everything on the screen. The colors are very vibrant and crisp. I am very pleased with the picture quality. Watching movies on the screen is amazing. I am in love with this screen. I have another Samsung TV, but this TV’s screen is much better, far superior. I haven’t hooked up the PlayStation to this TV yet, to see how games look on it, but I am sure that will be awesome. Adding all of my streaming services was effortless. It is very easy to navigate this smart TV. I’m still playing with it, and learning all of the features. The sound is great, I added a soundbar for sound effects for my movies, but it was not a necessity. The sound quality is very good without it. The TV is heavy, but not too bad. The packaging made it seem heavier than it actually was. It was a little cumbersome to get out the box. It took 2 of us to get it out of the box, put feet on, and put on the stand. Overall, I am very pleased with this TV. It has amazing color and sound. It is very nice. I highly recommend this TV. Great job Samsung!!!

    Just got this tv a few weeks ago and the software sucks. It’s slow compared to my Sony, you can’t download many apps and apps crash and freeze. My 7 year old Sony is better than this.
