Samsung S90C OLED TV Review A Transformative Home
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung S90C OLED TV Review A Transformative Home Experience The Samsung S90C did more than upgrade our living room. It transformed it. My wife captured the feeling perfectly. She said that watching television on this screen felt like appreciating the full experience of high-quality sound and visuals made personal. Every scene, every note, every moment became something intimate. That clarity made the investment a must-have for our new home. And today, mounted proudly above our living-room fireplace, it continues to deliver joy and wonder every single evening. What made this purchase even more special was the journey leading to it. At the Best Buy in Southfield, the sales professional didn’t rush us or push us. Instead, they took the time to educate us. They showed us comparison models side by side, explained what we were seeing, and highlighted exactly what to look for in an OLED panel. Then came the moment that sealed it for us: stepping into the special audio-visual suite on site. In that room, the S90C didn’t just look better. It felt better. The colors, the depth, the sound that wrapped around the space—it was a demonstration of what modern home entertainment could truly be. It was, in a word, transformational. Today, we’re still grateful. Grateful for the technology. Grateful for the guidance. And grateful for the way this TV turned simple watching into a shared experience of beauty and immersion. If you want a television that elevates the entire atmosphere of your home, the Samsung S90C is the one.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did alot if research when looking to upgrade my 65” LED tv. Comparison between LG, Samsung, Sony and all their panels. Decided to go with Samsung S90C for their new QD-OLED and I’m glad I did. The biggest thing was that it doesnt have Dolby Vision, yes but their HDR10+ is just as good and you can barely tell a difference. The brightness + clarity makes up for it and its fantastic. Yes, the OS is meh but everyone and their mom either uses Amazon Firestick or Apple TV anyway. You’ll never use their system. One more thing, don’t get this one confused with the S89C which uses the LG panel. They are different. Overall, great tv. If you need the extra push. I hope this review does it.

Mini LED are not Dead
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this TV. I got the settings dialed in and the picture is absolutely gorgeous. The colors pop and the blacks are inky black. These reviewers who say that OLED is the only way to get a contrasty picture are spoiled. I don't see any blooming. And the black bars are black. The cable management management they have on the back of the TV is a joke! It's last year's model so it was half off.

Don't Sleep on the 77 inch Beast.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect OLED at a great price. Yes, the 77 does have the same panel of the more expansive 95C. Why pay 1600 more?. No issues and clean pic for Blu-ray and gaming an 120hz. You do not even need to turn on HDR. images are crisp and bright already. You will find yourself turning off HDR and lowering brightness for sure lol

Movie going experience.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Talk. about an upgrade this is it. Shocking when we first looked at the picture, made us feel we were in the event. The colors are breath taking. The sound from the original speakers is real great. We added the Samsung sound bar it just put it over the top. With the woofer we feared breaking the windows. But what an experience for movie watching at home. Loved it.

He was honest and helped me stay in a budget. This is an amazing tv. The colors are so vibrant and clear. Until this tv, I had never noticed all the details you can see in black. I highly recommend this tv. It was worth every penny. Watching high res on this tv is a totally different experience.

Great purchase for the price
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent TV, both visual and audio quality are great for the price point. Handles gaming on the PS5 in HDR quality fantastically as well as the 144 hz video adjustment in some games for even smoother gameplay.

The hybrid technology on it brings forth vivid color deep blacks. And just everything I was looking for in a new TV especially coming from a plasma. I have been looking at for the last ten years. Movies look excellent on it as well as video games. Overall I am very happy with the performance and the quality of this television.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OLED TV is super cool! It has amazing colors and deep blacks that make everything look awesome. It fits nicely in any room, and you can see the screen from lots of different angles. The sound is okay, but adding speakers is what id do anyway. It's expensive, but totally worth it for movie lovers and espically gamers!

I wanted 65" She wanted 55" & BOTH HAPPY W/ 77" !
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couldn't be happier! We first thought 55" and I wanted 65"... and after much discussion we decided on the 65". Turns out that how our wall was situated and what we needed to cover required a bigger tv. We went with the 77" and originally my wife thought it was going to be ridiculous for the room as we were only 12 ft. from the television. Once we put it up and adjusted the picture to our liking... we agree that anything smaller than this would have gotten lost on the wall. This was one of those moments where I got a big sigh with a "YOU WERE RIGHT!" and I'm gonna ride that one for a while. You won't regret buying this size. And the picture and sound are insane. That's another benefit of the larger televisions - way better sound built in.

Would be perfect if it support Dolby Vision
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is amazing! The picture is bright and the colors are vibrant! HDR is great! Only complaint is doesn't support Dolby Vision, which I knew when I bought it. It would be perfect if it did. I don't use the built-in speakers so can't comment on the sound.

Happy with purchase
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the S90c at 77 inches. I went with the S90 over the 95c because the value per dollar and the 77 having the gen 2 panel. Plus, I am not a fan of the one connect box. Picture quality is awesome. I am in a fairly bright room and I do not have any glare issues. I did need to turn down the color due to saturation but all good now.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this tv! Colors are vivid and black is black, not all pixelated. I couldn’t be happier. Using this with a Samsung sound bar, sound was good on the tv but for a tv like this, you want a sound bar too

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this tv for a home theater set up and am blown away by the color range, picture quality and how black the blacks are, if a scene cuts to black on the tv the room look as if there is no lights on at all, Incredible and easily one of the better purchases I’ve made.

S90c best tv of 23?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok lg oled buyer since the c9 …. This tv blows away the c3 which I exchanged it for … the packaging sucks my tv was dirty and dusty on the back and lg has way better packaging … but the picture quality isn’t close… I also owned the 77 inch s95c for a bit don’t even bother the s90c 77 inch looks the exact same to me … the grey uniformity is perfect super faint lines on 5 percent … One weird thing to point out is when I set up the stand … it sits 3.5 inches from the table top where the marketing says the stand only raises it 2.2 inches .. so either I did the legs wrong or they are wrong but thought I would mention it for any soundbar owners …. I really really hope lg brings MLA to the c4 but as it stands right now the mid tier c3 can’t touch the s90c it’s not even close … So if you are deciding between those 2 it’s easy … One more glitch possibly if I you put it in pass through audio earc sometimes it auto switches back to auto depending on the content … I’m using an Apple TV

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautifull, very nice and crisp picture. Needs some adjustments to get the desired results. Not perfect out of the box but after you play with the settings is excellent. Very bright, no problems with the brightness at all. Buy it, you will not regret.

Defective Unit
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV is gorgeous when it works. The good: The pictire on 4k or UHD streaming is great. The TV is bright and vibrant. The perfect blacks create great contrast and make dark shows or movies an absolutely pleasure to watch. The bad: The lower quality content and older shows appear grainy from poor upscaling. The remote.... its terrible.... The volume rocker is also the mute button, so if youre turning the volume up or down and dont hit it correctly, it will just mute the TV. The minimalist design means there is no input or display settings button, everything requires you to go into the menu and figure out how to change what you need. Changing the input should take 3 seconds but instead takes 20 seconds (after the learning curve) The Ugly: The unit I got was a lemon. On first start up, the sound would not work. Had to unplug for 30 seconds and restart the TV 2 days in, the tv started randomly power cycling. The tv would freeze for 5 seconds and then restart. It happened on a firestick, the Xbox, and when using samsungs smart tv platform. Samsung did some remote trouble shooting and found they would need to send someone out to repair the likely bad power unit. It seems the power cycling gets worse the longer its on. When you first start watching TV it doesnt do it for 45mins or so. Then it will do it in about 30 mins. Then it will eventually start power cycling every 10-15 mins once the tv has been on for 2-3+ hours. Final thoughts: Thinking this was just a bad unit I tried to swap out for a new one and best buy was going to do that for me (without using my extended warranty). The tv is completely sold out nationwide and unable to be replaced. I am scheduled for a pickup exchange for a 77 LG C3.

The best TV I’ve ever owned!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is amazing and the sound is good. The user interface is intuitive and the TV itself looks really nice. I was concerned that not having Dolby Vision would be an issue, but it’s not. Do not let that hold you back. Believe me I agonized over this for quite a while. IMO, for the price, this TV is untouchable. I bought the Sony A95 and the Samsung S90C and had them side-by-side for about a week. There are very few situations where the Sony looked marginally better, and the Sony at the time was well over twice as much money. In most scenes, the Samsung looked better. Of course it’s based on individual taste and color interpretation, but if you’re on the fence go for the S90 C. It’s a great TV.
