I never thought a tv would amaze me again

I’ve been re-watching Disney and Pixar movies with my kids, this TV adds another dimension! Colors are so clear and bold, darks are nighttime darks and the contrast is amazing!

The rest leaves me disappointed - the remote is to small and very subtle as to what your finger is touching - operating system not the best, as you have to do 3 steps to change from streaming to your cable box. Hard to turn screen off. Sound is okay, but not as good as my much cheaper 55" Sony.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.77" is the best OLED TV performer for the $$ - I currently own the 77" S95C and loved it so much I wanted a second one but reviewers recommended the S90C because same image quality for $1000 less - BELIEVE IT. This is indistinguishable from my S95C and I prefer it to the LG G3. Although the audio is a little weak - I'd get a $150 soundbar with subwoofer.

Honestly the picture quality is fine, definetly on the lower end of OLEDs when talking picture quality tho. I know the LG has a far superior picture quality but i have always had samsung and previously owned a 2017 Samsung QLED Q7. Which was amazing and I loved the remote and the Tizen OS. So I was willing to sacrifice picture quality for the Tizen OS and the samsung smart remote. Boy was i wrong, the OS operates like a cheap roku or amazon fire TV. I shouldnt have to completely exit out of one app to open an other. I loved how in previous tizen versions the smart hub opened at the bottom of the screen and i can select my next app or settings without having to exit whatever I’m watching. The remote is tiny, cheap far to sensitve. It will turn your tv off just by looking at it wrong. The previous remotes were far superior and for a $2,000+ TV or your flagship models…Bring back the stainless steal remotes. Make us fee like our money was spent on quality. In short, the picture quality is fine, but my 65. “ 2018 QLED Q7 and 2017 65” KS8000 are better all around TVs. And they shouldnt be. Fix your stuff samsung. It’s like you realized you messed up by giving us to good of TVs in 2017 and 2018 and had to pull it back.

Disappointment for a FLAGSHIP Samsung OLED TV

Own a LGC2 already. The S90C upscaling is terrible for YouTube TV football games look like garbage , No Dolby Vision, cheaply made remote, flimsy television build, awful settings and interface operating system. I could care less that it is measly 24hz faster (you can’t even tell 120hz to 144hz) or that it can hit 1200 nits peak brightness; I could care less . The overall functionality and performance of the LGC2 blows this Samsung product out of the water. If I could take this thing back and buy a C3 or B3, I would do it. The picture is ok, but pales to the C3. The 2.1 sound is also not bad , but LG C2 is 2.2, and the magic remote is awesome. Don’t make the same mistake, go with an LG OLED.

The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
Here are some tips to help improve the picture clarity:
1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receiver, IPTV, and set-top box to UHD or HD.
4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
