Wont turn on 1.5 Months in

Bought this tv at the end of October and now, Mid-December, it wont turn on. I had seen these reviews come in a few weeks ago, hoping it wouldnt happen to us but it did.. luckily we have BestBuy+ and are going to try 1 more time (we were told it might be a batch issue). We also just bought 5 year protection but if it stops working again we may opt for the LG C4… The picture and glare-free viewing (our room is bright and could see glare-free with all curtains open, I know this isn’t the actual glare free model) was the best and we didn’t want to pay more for a different tv we wouldn’t like as much.

Horrible experience with Samsung TV.

In December of 2024 the power board failed which stopped the TV from working. We were without TV for about one week. The technician arrived and I assisted him in lifting it to the floor. He took it apart and replaced the power board. The TV worked again. In February of 2025, the TV shut off again. It's probably the power board again but we won't know until the technician comes again. We have no TV again until it's repaired. Please do not buy a Samsung TV if you are expecting a flawless TV without frequent issues. This experience is a wake up call for me. And the worst part is I payed $2,500 for this junk. I will be requesting a replacement TV as I don't know whats causing these power boards to fail. Neither does Samsung!!!

Lost power

Fortunately, it is still within the BestBuy return period. I will have it replaced with a new unit, hopedully it will last this time. I have had multiple Samsung LCD TVs over the years with no issues. Let's see, because I do love the amazing picture quality and size.

I ordered a TV on August 27th, 2025, and the confirmation email clearly stated it would arrive by September 2nd, 2025. Not only did it NOT arrive, but there was also zero communication from Best Buy until I called on Sept 2nd to ask for an update. To my greatest shock, I was told the TV hadn’t even arrived in Indiana! The customer service was beyond awful — extremely rude, constantly transferring my call mid-conversation, with no accountability. When I called again on Sept 4th, I spoke to a rep who actually told me to come to the store and pick up my 77-inch TV (seriously? I’m a Total Member, isn’t that the whole point?). His tone was rude and condescending the entire time. The TV finally showed up on Sept 8th, 2025 through ABF Freight Systems Inc. — six days late — and to make matters worse, the delivery guy refused to bring the TV inside my home. He insisted they were only required to leave it at the door. That’s absolutely unacceptable and despicable service for such a large, heavy item. This entire experience has been a nightmare. Best Buy completely failed on communication, delivery, professionalism, and basic customer service. I will never recommend Best Buy for TV purchases. Zero stars if I could give them. Lastly I hope the TV doesn't have any issue because have not unbox it yet.

I started with the Samsung 95D; it went dead after 2 weeks. BB was great and sent me a replacement; it also went dead after 2 weeks. I decided to try the 90D and BB was great and replaced TV #2. 4 weeks later, the 90D went dead. That was strike 3; Sansung...you're out!. After purchasing Samsung TVs for 20 years, I am done with them. Something has seriously changed over there. Once again BB was great with their customer service. I decided to go with the Sony Bravia 8 77" and it will be installed next week. Again, I'm done with Samsung.
