    Picture quality is superb. The user interface is the reason I stayed with Samsung, very easy setup and get used to. Sound is surprisingly great even when mounted close to a wall

    Phenomenal tv at a great price versus the competition. Qd-oled with plenty of features including 144hz gaming with VRR. Excellent picture for watching SDR AND HDR CONTENT.

    Dead after 60 days. Terrible service from Samsung

    This in no way reflects poorly on Best Buy. This is purely a SAMSUNG problem. The 77” Samsung S90D was a fantastic television until it died after 2 months (stopped powering on). Since it died on 12/15/24 Samsung Warranty Service has been TERRIBLE. 1. It took 14 days from the date I reported the issue for Samsung to determine that there are no authorized repair agents in my area (60 miles from Indianapolis, IN). No one reached out to tell me this. I had to contact them again on my own after 7 days and then again at 14 days to get this information. 2. I was then told I would be contacted within 48 hours to discuss other options. I waited 3 days and then contacted Samsung again myself. 3. Here is the resolution that was reached as of 01/03/25: In 7-10 days I will be contacted by a trucking company to schedule a date to come pick up the dead set (I have no way to contact the company on my own, so hopefully I will actually be contacted) After the set is picked up, I will be given a receipt that I’m to take photo of and text to Samsung to prove that the damaged set has actually been picked up. After I upload the photo, I will be contacted (hopefully) by Samsung within 3-5 days and give a code to enter on the Samsung website to purchase a new tv as a replacement. Assuming the replacement is actually in stock, it will be shipped and delivered to my home in 5-7 days. By the time this process is completed, it appears I will be without a replacement for my $2500 set for approximately 2 months which is the amount of time I had it before it died. In 2025, when many companies are able to provide warranty service including replacement within a matter of a few days, this amount of time is ridiculous. Of course, if I wanted to buy a new TV directly from Samsung, it would be in my home within 3-4 days. They’re happy to provide rapid service on new products, but it will take well over a month to replace a TV that’s a lemon since they already have my money. I’m not going to do this, because I don’t believe in cheating the system, but it’s very tempting to order a new tv directly from Samsung and then return it within the allowed 15 day return window. At least I would have a tv in my living room to watch while I’m waiting on the replacement. I’m not upset with the fact the tv failed. These things happen, but as I said Samsung Customer Service is TERRIBLE.

    Do not buy this TV. The TV turned off after about 4 months of average use. The customer support from Samsung was tragically bad. I still have yet to receive a refund check in hand after 3 weeks of them saying it was sent. This was after 2 weeks of waiting for them to even decide to refund me due to no warranty services within my area. On top of this they expect the customer to deal with disposal of the TV and if you have any hope of receiving reimbursement for dumping/fuel costs, good luck waiting an additional 2 weeks for approval from their special cases department. Don't believe me? Look up the TV and you will see many others dealing with the same issue online.

    The picture and color quality are outstanding. The no glare is amazing especially when the curtains are open. The only thing is the remote needs redesigning.

    DO NOT BUY. Visually stunning display No longer powering on after just 4 months of use, and have been getting the run around from both Samsung and Best Buy on repair. Power issues appear to be a recurring issue with this model

    First of all - this TV’s picture quality, sound, and design is not in question. The picture is stunning, the audio very clear and loud. However, I purchased this TV in September, and it already died on me yesterday. TV won’t turn on, red standby light is nowhere to be seen. This seems to be a common occurrence with the 77S90D. Would not recommend this tv!! Not worth the money!!
