I recently purchased the Samsung S90D OLED TV, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The picture quality is absolutely stunning—deep blacks, vibrant colors, and incredibly sharp detail that really make movies and shows come to life. Motion is smooth, and the HDR performance adds an extra layer of realism, especially in darker scenes. The design is sleek and modern, and it looks fantastic in my living room. The smart TV features are responsive and easy to navigate, with plenty of apps and streaming options available right out of the box. Sound quality is surprisingly good for built-in speakers, though it pairs nicely with a soundbar for an even more immersive experience. Overall, I really like my new S90D. It delivers on everything I was hoping for in an OLED TV and feels like a major upgrade. Highly recommended.

Deep blacks with a rich color gamut makes this a powerhouse OLED TV for everything, especially gaming. Peak brightness makes the colors pop even more. Take all your 4k media to the next level with 4, 2.1 HDMI ports. Can support gaming up to 144hz which is a big plus. 77 inches looks like a movie theater in my living room.

The picture quality, profile, and sound in this tv is great. Unfortunately there is a common issue with this model, S90D 77”, where the PSB fails suddenly. This seems to happen within the first few months of usage typically. Mine lasted about 6 months until one day my tv shut off and the curcuit breaker for the room flipped. Thankfully samsung has a 12 month manufacturer warranty thay covered the cost of the replacement part (which is now redesigned not to fail) and the labor for their techs to come out. I wont give a lower review simply because they were able to come out so quickly and were in and out. But if i were to purchase a new TV, I would not go with this specific model. My other Samsungs have lasted me very well (in fact, i still have one from almost 20 years ago going strong), so I wouldnt steer away from the brand… yet.

I’m extremely impressed with the Samsung S90D OLED. The picture quality is absolutely stunning with deep blacks, vivid colors, and razor-sharp detail. Even during the day with a lot of sunlight coming through my windows, the screen stays bright and clear. The built-in sound is pretty good, much better than most TVs I’ve owned, but I would still recommend adding a soundbar to really get the most out of your movie nights. One thing to note: the TV is a bit on the heavier side, so if you’re planning to mount it make sure you have a solid mount and someone to help lift it. Overall, this is a fantastic OLED TV that performs great in both dark and bright rooms. Highly recommend!

Elegant. Thin. Stunning. These were some of the adjectives I used to describe my Samsung 77" S90D Series OLED TV. The picture quality is exquisite. It hangs in my brightly lit living room and is able to display deep blacks and vibrant color during the day. Sports and movies are equally beautifully rendered. So, why only 2 stars? Because the TV died after 71 days! I was out of town for a few days, came home and went to turn on the TV. No response. I figured maybe the remote battery was dead, so I charged it. No dice. Then I checked the power cable, power outlet, unplugged, replugged. No luck. Then I commenced googling and YouTubing. Found the power button on the actual TV. Tried different sequences of power resets. Nope. Apparently, Samsung knows that this is a problem. I have scheduled onsite service, and when I called to confirm the date, I was told that the tech has already ordered the parts. If you know that these TVs are lemons, why still sell them? For now, just a few days before the Super Bowl, I have an expensive, elegant, lemon scented brick on my wall. Should have just bought the Sony Bravia.

I've been eyeing this tv for about year now, wanting to upgrade my 65" Samsung Qled Q8F tv that was purchase back in 2018 which is an amazing tv in it own right .not only I wanted to move to Oled tv but in size as well due to the distance where we sit from tv. finally after so long I went and finally purchase the S90D 77 " when it came on sale for 1799.99 at bestbuy This tv is amazing, an upgrade in visual, sound and in size.. truly amazing I would recommend this model to anybody that is upgrading to a new tv It won't disappoint.. now if your considering this tv.. just keep paying attention when it does go on sale, cause it'll go back to 1999.99 or 2499.99..

I recently upgraded to the Samsung 77" Class S90D OLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV for our living room and it’s hands down the best purchase I’ve made for my home. The picture quality is absolutely breathtaking — deep blacks, vibrant colors, and incredible clarity that makes movies, sports, and gaming feel lifelike. The larger screen size makes a huge difference, and paired with the OLED technology, it transforms the living room into a true theater experience. The Smart Tizen platform is quick, intuitive, and packed with apps I actually use. Setup was simple, and even before connecting a sound system, the built-in speakers delivered impressive audio. Premium performance, flawless design, and unmatched viewing quality.

I did a ton of research and it was between Sony A80L, LG G3 and Samsung S90D. I went in to the store and saw all 3, played different video SDR, HD, HDR10+ etc in the end I went with the Samsung s90d 77 inch. The 77 has the QD-OLED panel, when I finally got it mounted and dialed in, I watched Furiosa. To say I was absolutely stunned by the picture quality is an understatement. This is prob the best TV I’ve ever watched. I’ve had it just over a week and not a day goes by me, or someone in my family mention how good the picture is on this OLED. If you’re on the fence, get off and get the QD-OLED panel which comes in 55 inch, 65 inch and 77 inch. Also you can verify by the last few of the model # as long as it ends in last 4 of model number FXZA. The WOLED had last 4 of EXZA. In US the 42.48 and 83 are WOLED and 55,65,77 are qd oled. The other sizes are WOLED. If you get the QD-OLED panel you won’t be disappointed.

I purchased a 77" s90d and it is amazing. The picture is out of this world. I cant say enough about the color volume, contrast and brightness. I'm not a fan of the newer Tizen OS. I preferred the older version on older Samsung tvs. However that's not why I gave this TV 3 stars. The picture being so good is what saved this tv from a 1 star because it has a glaring problem. The 77" s90d is notorious for the PCB dieing after very short use. As you can see with a google search, it is a wide spread problem. I contaced Samsung and a technician was out in less than 7 days to repair. He informed me that they get 2-3 a week in my area with the same failure. He told me it was a Samsung issue from the factory, that the PCB used in the S90D was the same one used in another Samsung model thats 75". It has no issues in that model but a high failure in the S90D 77". The new PCB he installed is a slightly upgraded one, and has ran my tv perfect since. He also informed me they had not had a single failure with the upgraded PCBs in these tvs. If it wasn't for the widescale PCB failure, this tv would be 5 stars in my opinion.

Excellent! Color bright, images are sharp and appear as 3D. Picture is perfect from any angle. If your room is large enough, I would recommend the 77” size screen.

I purchased this TV based on an exhaustive amount of research, and found it for an unbelievable price at Best Buy as an open box. It was a little rough-looking at first glance but didn't come with the stand (easy fix) but for the price it didn't matter. I thought I had to pick it up, but upon my arrival, the salesmen offered delivery, it arrived 2 days earlier than expected, I purchased a stand, got it all connected, turned on a 4k Blu-ray and OMG! Samsung has the best OLED tech with QD-OLED, I'm coming from an LG OLED and WOW! Thanks Best Buy, my dream TV for less than half MSRP!

Making a purchase for an item that you do not have alot of Technical knowledge on can be very scary in the fact you dont want to over pay for what you dont want and under pay for what you are asking for. BEST BUY Tech was amazing and guided me to excatly what I was asking for and explained what I got with the diffrent price points. In-fact he explained the first TV i was looking was over kill for what i wanted. With that said the picture is amazing. The quality is amazing. The TV quality exceeded my expectations!

This TV is absolutely stunning. I was looking for a large screen TV to elevate the visual experience in my basement and the S90D fit the bill. My room is light controlled so i dont need the brightest set but the QD-OLED screen makes every thing just pop. The color volume is top notch with the added benefit of OLED for inky black and the best contrast in the business. No regrets buying this!

I’m really impressed with the advanced technology of this TV. The colors are vibrant and rich, making every scene feel lifelike, and the viewing experience is very comfortable for the eyes, even during long watching sessions. What I love most is how well it adapts to all kinds of lighting in the room—whether it’s bright daylight or dim evening light, the picture stays clear and detailed without losing quality.

I will never buy a Samsung TV again. As a long time fan, if you follow gaming culture this brand — Samsung — just pulled a Battlefield 2042. I didn’t want to review but I can’t not review — Samsung, update your firmware. This is a TV for enthusiasts. At this tier — the TV should be compatible with external components flawlessly. And I am not trying to discourage you, the picture is beautiful — but the software is horrible. I bought 2 of these — 1 in 77”, 1 in 65” which was DOA and BestBuy almost didn’t return it, but they did. The 77” I have to reboot the tv because the GUI and software is written so poorly there’s no robust error handling programmed in, so switching to and from game mode might crash the TVs system. This is such an issue on both TV, even going from a cable to the onboard applications on the 65” can crash the TV software — to the point you have to unplug it, let the CAM clear and plug it back in for it to boot, the remote stops working (this is 3 TVs I personally dealt with, exact model. Different sizes. I have 2 in my house right now and they’re trash. Cool. I have $5000 worth of trash in my house. BestBuy ate the cost and returned one that was $2000 so between BestBuy and Myself we have dumped about $7000 on garbage from Samsung. Thank you. Best Buy — you’re amazing as always. I’m sorry your vendors suck sometimes.
