Screen won't stay on

Then the screen went black (power was on, sound was on). Did the hard reboot, factory reset etc. We've been trying to get it fixed since March but due to COVID haven't been able to. Repair scheduled for next week so we'll see if they can make it right. We have many other Samsung products that we have loved which is why we opted for another big screen in our main TV room. Really disappointed this time.

Worst Customer Service!!!!

I bought this TV 2 years ago and paid extra $380 for geek squad warranty, no problems till a month ago . I have tried to schedule a appointment with someone to come look at my TV and they won't do it till I give them serial # on TV . I been on the phone for 3 hours today, transferred to 5 different departments , put on hold more than 30 mins at a time, hung up on 3 times and send to wrong departments . I use to be a big fan of Best Buy, but now I am done with these people!!!!!!!

Great until it stops working

It will turn on, but then go black after a few minutes. Sound works, tv remains operational, but no screen. I've exhausted all recommendations for fixing it at this point. Total loss.

Dont buy it!!!

Second issue, doesn't stay connected to wifi. And now a year and 4 months later there is this line running across the width of the tv. Over all terrible experience with the tv.

1. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
2. HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
3. The TV also offers custom settings, allowing you to adjust images to your preference.
4. The quality of streaming content depends largely on the speed of your internet, as most content providers have adaptive streaming that would automatically adjust the image quality based on the network bandwidth.

2 months and issues

No idea why I buy Samsung products anymore. Cell phone bursts into flames, washing machine explodes, and TV has white dots. Lovely.

Very good but not great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was still quite happy with my 65" panasonic plasma from 2012 but really wanted to upgrade the size. The 82" screen size is HUGE! The picture is good but not great. Some things on my plasma looked a little better but some shows look better on this as well. Maybe that is to be expected since the blacks on a plasma are still superior. I have been using the HDR function with directv and the picture looks pretty solid. At times it doesn't seem to be as clear + crisp as I think it should be but the size makes up for any negativity in my opinion. Other than the pure size of this monster one of its best features is the smart remote. Without having to do any programming I am able to control my directv, firestick, and even my xbox! I was amazed at how well the remote worked straight out of the box. Although its not a problem now but it has taken me about a couple of weeks to get the settings just about right. Although I don't need to use my firestick due to the ease of the apps on the smart report I still do since its all I have ever done but the HDR+ doesn't seem to be great on it and I have to use the movie settings instead. I use the HDR+ with directv and am happy with the picture. I would recommend this TV to others. It's not perfect but the 82" screen size is amazingly big. I still find myself saying WOW this TV is huge at times and I have had it almost a month now.

The Wife Will Never Understand

When loading it in my truck at the store a man drove by and yelled "tell my wife to let me have one". It took 3 of us to hang it on the wall but it worked with my wall mount from my now tiny 65" tv. The spacing on the brackets is 24" you will need 4 - M8 x 45mm x 1.25 pitch bolts. They usually come with a wall mount kit but if you are going to reuse an existing mount take note before your helpers arrive. Your wife just won't understand. Compare it to a nice pair of shoes it helped me calm her down when she got home.

Best TV I have ever bought in My Life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this tv and I was not sure because it was a 6k series and I have a 65 9k series that I replaces with this one and the picture is freaking amazing and TBH the only way to really tell is if your are watching a 4k movie from a disc not streamed I highly recommend and it looks massive no matter how big your space is . I would let people come check it out to make your purchase easier. Hope this helps

Great TV

We've started to have wifi issues where the tv disconnects briefly but hoping to get that resolved soon. The picture is clear, love the smart features and have overall been happy with my purchase
