Before coming to The store, my Wife had already looked online for a replacement TV and wanted to do an upgrade from the previous Samsung we purchased almost 5 years ago. We wanted the same size equivalent - this being the 83” But the technology and picture Quality was the icing on the cake. The first thing we noticed is how amazing with this new AI technology works - giving deep black pixel's and how they pop out the lighter colors. I’m also enjoying the home screen which has a different shortcuts from our previous Samsung. For our local channels we use a (TV antenna) and it looks just as good - we enjoy watching football and movies. Everything on this TV looks absolutely fantastic! The TV settings were simple, I have a Samsung account online - so you’re able to transfer all your favorite TV settings and apps not to mention register your TV to Samsung. Another enhancement to our living room is how the TV is in sync with the Samsung Q series Sound Bar. The sales person at Best Buy I believe was the manager and was extremely knowledgeable about the different models - current & past TVs. I feel very lucky to have had someone answer all my questions and understanding the technology difference. I still have some more adjustments to do. The whole pattern on the back for mounting is smaller than our previous TV and prefer a lower view. This is definitely something you have buy or at least look at on the sales floor. You could easily see the difference.

This television is absolutely incredible. The images are bright, and the black is as dark as when the television is off. I am a huge science fiction fan and I can’t stress enough the value of real black. The picture is razor sharp. Standard high definition looks great, but the 4K is unbelievable. I’m not a fan of smart TV functions. I have an Apple TV already and everything runs through my home theater system. I primarily use this television as a large monitor. I did find the settings that allow the TV to start in the last state that it was shut down in. So now it behaves just like my old television. The smart TV functions are still there, but I only have to see them if I want to. The speakers are typical for television speakers. I wouldn’t call them good but then again I don’t use them so it doesn’t matter to me. And I would suggest that anyone interested in good sound invest in a sound system. That goes for pretty much all televisions. I haven’t tried gaming on it yet, but I can’t imagine it being disappointing. There’s no flicker on anything that I’ve watched so far. Samsung has an anti-glare as well as an anti-reflection coating for various quality levels. I believe mine has the anti-glare which is a huge improvement over my old television when there’s sunlight shining on it. I bought this television purely for the picture and I couldn’t be happier. And one last thing, a free advertisement for Phillips Hue lighting. Synchronize to the television, four lights in the back, and six overhead. Really adds another dimension.

Everyone loves are new TV. The colors and quality are spectacular! We never went to the theater a lot because our daughter in a wheelchair has difficulty getting into the seats. But now we have a movie Theater quality TV in our home, and everyone in the family loves it!

I really enjoy it and its nice having a bigger tv with better quality of picture. Better than my 65 inch tv that i have.

Super clear picture with the deep dark blacks you'd expect from an OLED TV. Also light enough to hang on the wall with two people. Highly recommend!

Its too big for my apartment, which is perfect. I love it. I had a smaller 8k tv before but i wanted to go bigger and i dont regret it at all.
