      I am very sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your new AU7980. You can try troubleshooting the issue by navigating to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test, and then follow the on-screen directions.

      If the lines appear during the picture test, please visit the Support Center on the Samsung Website to request service.

      If the lines do not appear during the picture test, then the problem is the external device, and not your TV. Try replacing the cable that is connecting the external device to the TV. If the lines still appear after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device.

    Unfortunately very difficult to see during the day if you get a lot of natural daylight in your house or apartment during the day or you don’t like white spots or ghosting or random sounds the tv makes after it turns off after it’s been on for a while this isn’t your tv. If you haven’t had a tv for 30 years this is five stars.

    Terrible purchase owned for less then 3 months and lines are already showing on bottom of screen. Not happy at all!

    Picture has ghost movements, color bleeds, sharpness is not sharp. Sound is low. Do not purchase if you have a choice. Price and size are great. Will purchase a higher quality Samsung.
