    Do not recommend. I purchased this tv back in march 2022, and half of the screen went black today July 20, 2023. Just over a year and it’s not working, paid 1,500+ and didn’t last.

    started out great only had the tv for 3 weeks then blue vertical line on right side of screen with 2 days left for return and none in stock for exchange have to go through Samsung warranty process. Have never owned this brand stepped outside the box.

      I am sorry to hear that you are seeing screen abnormalities on your new AU7980 Crystal UHD TV. Please run a Picture Test to determine if the problem is caused by the TV. Picture Test displays a high-definition picture you can examine for flaws or faults. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

      If this occurs on all sources and the picture test, this will require service. For additional troubleshooting steps or assistance setting up a service appointment please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.
