I wish there were negative stars

Can’t listen to the TV unless we have a sound bar. Tech support came out TWICE, noted the issue and reported it back to Samsung and Samsung is not honoring warranty. We had the full speakers and motherboard replaced, sound sounded normal for like 10 seconds then broke again and Samsung says we’re just being picky. Beyond absurd. Also the UI sucks and the TV crashes often. Save yourself a headache and get an LG instead

The TV and Best Buy Service suck/ Do not recommend
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve had this tv for a little over a month and it’s horrible. Every single day when I turn the tv on it automatically shuts off and restarts or while I'm watching it, it will freeze and turn off. Sometimes I have to wait for a minute or two before it will even come back on. I contacted Best Buy two days outside of my return window and they wouldn’t even return or exchange the item, just told me to contact the manufacturer. Really? All I wanted was a working tv. I just bought a new house didn’t mount this tv right away, so I guess that’s my fault for assuming Best Buy sold quality products. After speaking with the manufacturer several times all they can do is troubleshoot with me through text!!! I spent $800 on a tv and this is the level of service I receive. Customer service has went down the gutter. I will never purchase anything else from Best Buy ever again! Their level of service is in the garbage disposal. Thanks for this piece of trash tv you sold to me Best Buy :)

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung DU6950 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV turns on and off repeatedly.
Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.
If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will likely need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. Dont pay 699 for an 85"

Lesson learned next time get extended warranty

Freezes up daily or the sound will stop working

I had a friend help set it up, and it was indeed a lot of work. This TV is massive and heavy. It took 3 people to get it hung on the wall just to have technical issues. I wish so badly that I had read the reviews like I always do before making big purchases, but I didn't. I have always bought Samsung and never had a problem until this TV. The TV freezes up every day, or the volume will just stop working in the middle of a movie. The dashboard will freeze up as well. I tried to do a factory reset, but that didn't fix the problem. .. I will have to return it for sure. I see problems coming my way. I can't recommend this TV.

85 inch Samsung piece of garbage

I’m having a very hard time trying to get the TV replaced or repaired. I keep getting in trouble between Best Buy and Samsung. While I have other Samsung devices and products that I’ve had very little to know problems with this one has all, but changed my mind about the Samsung product.

Bad Experience

Go to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.
For sound adjustments, go to Settings> All Settings> Sound.
