    Poor Image Quality

    For the price, we expected better picture quality. At first we assumed the content we were watching wasn't up to par but even during live HD sports the pixilation is horrible. Any gameplay or fast movement causes a completely fuzzy picture. When the statistics graphics are shown it takes almost two full seconds for the clarity to come through. If even NFL broadcasts look fuzzy I'm not confident anything will look as good as we'd expected. If the camera isn't zoomed in on a particular player we can't even read the names on jerseys which we can do on our 35 inch tv from 2010. Overall very disappointing.

      For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by following these steps:
      1) Go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings
      - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
      - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
      - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

    When we get someone to help us, they are wonderful - but it takes 45 minutes to get someone on the phone and no one returns calls or email questions - at all. :(!!!

    Worst TV I ever purchased. A few months after purchasing TV our HDMI ports stopped working. We had to pay Best Buy to remove the TV to get it fixed. Then we had to pay them to come back to re install the Tv. Next we had sound problems. 1-2 seconds the sound quit about 1 hour intervals. Now the TV sound goes out completely about once a day. Have to turn it off for over a minute to get the sound back. Next the new HDMI ports are out again. Can’t receive cable TV. It’s been a week since I notified Samsung and nothing yet. No text. No phone calls.

    on 6/19 i got an email that item is due for delivery on 7/3, but today 6/25, i was asked to reschedule the 7/3. they didnt state the reason why i need to reschedule. accdg to the agent (chat agent) the tv we ordered for delivery on 7/3 wont get delivered because of vendor fault. it is only available on 7/23. Now you are asking me feedback on the product? we havent even gotten it! i couldnt imagine your system - inefficient!

    Dirty Screen Effect - Beware

    I have had this TV for 7 months and now there are random gray blotches when watching hockey or anything with a white screen. Google search shows this is a "dirty screen effect". Once you see the defect it is impossible not to notice. Extremely disappointing as I have only bought Samsung TVs for the last 15 years.

    So disappointed! We have had this TV for almost 2 years with no problems! Then it just stopped working - no warning, no problems.... just shut off and won't turn back on. Too much money - Too New and Too big of a TV to have gone bad so quickly.

Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken.     Unnacceptable-Moving on from the brand

    This ended up being my last Samsung TV ever. While the visuals of the TV are great, the hardware of it are not worthy of a 4k dollar TV. I am 4 years into ownership and have 2 HDMI ports that don't work , one being the most important ARC port that connects my 2k dollar Samsung sound bar and provides the ATMOS capabilities. To have this not working this early in to owning it and being outside of warranty so no options is unacceptable. Stay away, look at better brands, this is not worth the money

    Don't Buy Direct from Samsung

    Q80T is pretty impressive with HDR and 4K content. Unfortunately HD content leave something to be desired. I can echo that the software is pretty unreliable as well. Prime and Netflix work intermittently at best. If you are going to invest in a purchase like this, deal with local best buy, NOT Samsung direct. I purchased direct and now they can figure out how to return it. Yes they have a nice 15 day return window but the system "is broken". I have hours of hold time and waste emails asking me to just wait a few more days, not the 15 days has passed. Honestly i am generally a Samsung product (phones, tablet, chromebook and have been considering appliances) fan but this experience has left me never wanting another Samsung product.

      Your Q80T QLED 4K TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.

      Here are some tips to help improve the image quality of HD content.
      1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.

      2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.

      3) Adjust the cable box or satellite box's video output resolution to 1080i.

      4) Look for a channel that is broadcasting native HD content. For over the air/cable antenna connection, try these steps to find HD channels: Go to Menu>Settings> Broadcasting> Auto Program

    Poor Product Quality

    Samsung, DO BETTER! This TV get's minimal use and 6mo in, the HDMI 3 (Arc) port is not working. I get no sound through my receiver (it's not the receiver or the HDMI cable). Chances are, the board is bad. For $4k, this TV should last for years, not 6mo. I purchased this TV to replace a Samsung 75" TV. The 75" TV went bad after 5yrs, again with minimal use. I purchased a 46" Samsung TV in 2009, one of the first LEDTV's on the market. That TV is our main TV and is still working with no issues. I also have an older 60" and 32" Samsung LEDTV's with no issues. The two most recent TV purchases (85 and 75) have been VERY disappointing. These newer TV's are built like crap. They may look fancy and expensive but their components are cheap and not very durable.
