Also the voice controlled remote does not work. We do always buy Samsung ,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the QN85B TV’s image quality. Please try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions, as these will automatically adjust your picture and may cause your screen to appear brighter or darker than preferred.
Check to see if Contrast Enhancer has been enabled. This setting automatically adjusts your TV's brightness so the difference between bright and dark areas is not excessive. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer
If Contrast Enhancer hasn’t been enabled, please see if Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, or Motion Lighting have been enabled and disable them.
- Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > turn off Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting
Please also be sure your TV’s firmware is up to date with the latest version. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
If voice recognition does not work with your remote and there is no response even if the Voice Assistant button is pressed, the connection between the remote control and the TV may be lost. Try pairing the remote control with the TV:
1) Long press the RETURN key and ENTER key together for about 10 seconds.
2) The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backwards pointing arrow.
3) The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring.
If your remote is still not working properly or its response is slow, please check the remaining battery of the Smart Remote by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Available Remote Battery.

I use it mainly with my PC, which makes it the perfect monitor at 10'. This TV includes SamsungTV, which means that I now get 248 TV channels for free! Since I "cut the cord", this was a welcome surprise! IT IS BEAUTIFUL. Get the "slim" mount. It is a pain in the XXX to install, but absolutely worth it once completed. It makes the whole thing ELEGANT.

Definitely wouldn't consider this "Wide Angle". Bothered us so we switched to the Samsung QN90B and are much happier with overall picture quality and appearance anywhere in the room.

The smartTV content is really what sets it apart. With a reliable internet connection and a game controller, you can literally play microsoft flight simulator via xbox cloud gaming. This is without a console. With the 120 Hz refresh rate, motion is lifelike. You will need more than one person to move it.

The packaging was specifically designed to keep the TV in a standing position while you attach the TV stand. The picture is amazing. The refresh rate is more than sufficient to keep pace with action movies and video games. The TV itself works well with an Apple TV and an external sound system. Highly recommended!
