There is no mention of the feature on-line that I could find. Not sure the picture is any better than the model that is 1k cheaper. Dont think I would buy it again.

I thought that this model would really provide a higher quality picture than it does; especially due to its price point. Not a fan of the lag in terms of when I turn on games, its takes a bit for the picture quality to catch up. The solar powered remote control is pretty cool. It was a pain to attach the pedestal to the TV, it seemed like the screws provided were not fitting and we had to watch a YouTube tutorial on how to do it because they have the screws hidden in literally the most inconvenient to reach places. Overall not all that impressed with this model, if you cant get it on discount I would skip and find something better.

The only thing I don't care for is the controls. it limits some of the settings and seems to have less changeable options than the older TVs. Overall B+

We have a very bright and large family room and the viewing quality is outstanding from all angles at all times of day. The only confusing item was how the sound button works on the remote (which is solar powered btw) and wasn't intuitive initially. Otherwise excellent TV and hoping it will last for several years to come.

Picture is “meh” compared to my previous Sony (which died and was in repairable after 6 separate Geek Squad attempts with Sony continually sending broken replacement parts ….yes really). Kind of wish I’d gotten a TCL which was less expensive and in my experience with 3 other TCL TVs, a good value. The Samsung picture is many times not as crisp as I have seen with others and is down right blurry at times (even streaming).

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your QN85C TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.

Since it was under warranty they fixed it but honestly speaking I expected better.
