Can't get her to stop talking ALL the time with voice prompts for everything including information about programs and running time.

If your TV is announcing everything you do, Voice Guide is turned on. Voice Guide is an accessibility function to assist users who are visually impaired. It’s possible you’ve accidentally turned it on by holding down the volume button on your TV remote.
To turn off Voice Guide, navigate to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Voice Guide Settings > Voice Guide.

Audio problems.

Problem with audio syncing (voices out-of-sync with image) and audio popping in and out completely. Seems pretty clear that it is a software/firmware problem with this tv but a product this expensive shouldn't have this kind of problem. Also, it has been commented on a large number of times. We chose to ignore those comments and now we can confirm they are true -- we're experiencing the same thing.
