    Broke in under 16 months, Samsung no help

    DO NOT BUY!! Purchased this tv on 5/6/24. Today is 10/23/25 TV has stopped working - just a black screen, no sound, nothing. I phoned Samsung and did all the troubleshooting with them, and no luck. They were going to refer me to one of their technicians; but, sorry out of luck, they don't have a technician in my area. Unfortunately for us, we had like the TV so much, purchased a second for our family room 3 months ago. Fingers crossed that one doesn't magically stop working too. The TV had maybe 100 hours of tv watched on it as it was in our basement.

    Open box purchase. So far so good. Took a little work to open on the screen I wanted when turning on, but figured it out.

    DO NOT HIRE GEEK SQUAD TO INSTALL YOUR TV

    I spent over $6000 on two Samsung TVs, sound bar, and Geek Squad wall-mounting Installation. My biggest mistake was hiring Geek Squad! Oner of the TVs did not work properly on the day of installation. The technician blamed the Direct TV box for the TV not working properly. I relied on his expertise. It took me another 6 weeks or so for Direct TV to replace my box. But the Samsung TV still does not work. Now, Best Buy sells me there is nothing they can do to resolve the situation as the TV is beyond its return period. The only reason it is beyond the return period is because I relied on the technicians advice. I have called Best Buy customer service numerous times - no resolution. I have spoken to the local Best Buy store manager - no resolution. I have requested that Geek Squad come back to my house, but they refuse to send another technician. DO NOT EVER HIRE GEEK SQUAD! I WANT MY $6000 BACK!!

    Not sure what is going on but unfortunately the tv has some glitches that are very annoying and not sure what is wrong i will say when it was installed it worked perfectly so this could be operator error will know more in a few weeks

    Go for something "NOT SMART", if you can

    Will only be typing the issues I have SO FAR. ONE, just to get updates to firmware, you have to sign in or make an account and register your TV. TWO, when PC is connected to the TV, the TV keeps restarting. It goes to the starting spinning circle animation and then to the home screen, wait a couple seconds and it will repeat the cycle, over and over.... The fix, it seems, is to change how the TV identifies the PC, and make it believe its a blue ray player. THREE, a lot of options are locked if you are using a PC in the settings, like the motion clarity, again the option to fix this was to make the TV believe the PC was blue ray player (also, why does increasing the frame rate which the TV should be running natively 120Hz, slowdown response time, which it does on this TV, why can't a TV of this price range have a better processor?). FOUR, there is occasional flicker, I would be watching some Youtube and on some of the thumbnail suggestions on the side or bottom, the image would randomly flicker, or if just on desktop, an all white Notepad would flicker. FIVE, the setup is a pain and after set up, menu navigation is confusing and like I said before, you have to be logged in to your TV to do certain things like software updates, which I only did cause I thought it would fix certain things listed above... it didn't.

    Extremely slow buffering to the degree that viewing is a horrendous experience. I have 2 low cost TCL TVs with Roku and they load fast and perform much better than this $3000 Samsung! All attempts to remedy fail. It's not signal strength and updated the software. I'm tired of this!!!

    Nothing spectacular especially for watching movies on this TV and the sound is not great either. Seems like I overpaid for this TV and now debating if I should return after only a week.

    Won't ever shop here again. Changed my delivery to pickup. Go to the store to pickup, told it's not available. Ask to get my original delivery date, and I'm told it isn't available and they don't have an open date for 12 days. Zero accountability with this place. They make the mistake, but the customer has to pay the price. Canceled order and bought it through Amazon. Arrives tomorrow. Never again!!! I'm sure the TV will be amazing, but Best Buy sucks, horrible customer service.

    3 days after install and delivery they had on sale for 50 dollars less, good luck trying to call the store for refund at least 50 tries to get the store and every time ended up in India. Tried on a Tuesday 5 min before and after opening even, nothing. After spending 5k there with 2 purchases and cant get 1 person at the store to reply Im done with them. For a 1% refund no response SO LONG WORST BUY

    On the initial visit they were not able to set up the sound system Returned 1 week later and still could not connect. Suggested i buy a new router ; which i did scheduled new appointment but never came and never notified me Scheduled another visit cancelled. Had to go to store to find out what was going on. Assured they would fix by Superbowl Cancelled another appointment and now scheduled for 2/13, well after superbowl

    Paid to have Geek Squad install. Staff was very professional, but when they plugged the TV in, it was broken. Have to wait over s week fir a replacement

    Order the tv its been three weeks never got it they send throw third party and tv got lost they charge my card and there is no one helping
