But that really doesn't happen during video playback. Only when it's starting up or shutting down really. If you plan on using it as a monitor for your computer, you might want to change your mind. I don't know what it is about this television but it loses connection with my computer all the time and have to sit down and fiddle with the connections multiple times before the picture comes back and then the stupid thing wants to "detect device" and I'm just like just let me see picture! I have it paired with a 17-year-old 42-in off brand flat screen and it never has trouble detecting the picture and starting right up. Just goes to show newer isn't always better.

At that price it’s well worth it for size alone, but the downsides are: 2 hdmi ports, somewhat limited picture quality, 60fps. Overall I’m satisfied though
