Good product for the price, does what it's supposed to.

Great drive for the price. Software made replacing my internal drive a breeze. But be warned it does not come with the cable like the PRO version did. Will have to have some sort of SATA external device to hook it up with to allow the copy software to work.

I did not believe the reviews and just did not think that any SSD is different than others. BOY, WAS I WRONG...I have purchased other SSD's and their performance is exceptional, but when I placed this SSD in my laptop, the boot up time compared to my desktop (which has a SSD) is mind blowing. My laptop boots in 5 seconds, whereas my desktop boots in 20 seconds. Websites and applications boot up significantly faster as well. I have breathed new life in my laptop which took about 2 minutes to boot with its original hard drive. HANDS DOWN, this SSD is obviously the best for the money. I highly recommend to anyone searching for an SSD that will provide IMMEDIATE results.

Makes computer work like new, with fast processing

I was looking for a way to speed up my computer, mostly when playing video games. Whenever my computer was acting slow the HDD was usually the culprit, sitting at 90% or more usage. It was between getting a SSD or just a second HDD, either would have been acceptable in my opinion. I'm glad I went with the SSD option, and the Samsung 850 EVO has been wonderful for what I wanted. I put my OS and misc programs that don't upgrade or save often onto it, and now I hardly see either drive hit more than about 60% or so. Also, my computer is up and running from a cold start to 'boot'. That's a performance leap that I really can't disagree with. Considering using 2 for my next build from the start.

I put this in my new laptop and the boot time went from about 30 seconds to 5! It was not very expensive and is a great way to make a laptop even faster. I have no complaints with this purchase.

I own an electronics repair business. I purchased this drive for a client's computer. The drive is fast. The OS boot is much faster with this sdd. The lag is reduced while a program is loading.

I have purchased 3 of these Samsung SSD drives. They are Simply Outstanding. Each has and is working as they said it would. They used to say RAM Memory was the best bang for the buck upgrade. I say the SSD is. Even better with a RAM upgrade. If the Samsung SSD's were the same as other brands I would still buy the Samsung based on their included or easily downloaded cloning program. It works fast and flawlessly. I could be wrong but I believe the cloning software is the best one out there. It only works cloning to Samsung drives. Buy one you won't be disappointed. I use mine in a desktop (don't own a laptop) but in a laptop these drives would be a great improvement.

I have been using my EVO 850 for about 2 months now. My boot takes literally 1.5 seconds from completely powered off to completely useable. The speed out of the samsung is best in class.

I waited several months to get a SSD and selected the Samsung 850V 250 gig based on the reviews I read. The drive is very fast and easy to setup as far as software. I am very happy with it. My only complaint was that it did not come with a adapter or tray to mount it in a desktop 3.5 drive casing. Had to get creative. Seriously Samsung, you could not include a 1$ part to make mounting easier? Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Installing the Samsung SSD drive in my laptop was simple. Installing new os to this was very fast. Boot time on this SSD drive is crazy insane. like 10 seconds and i"m up and running.

This replaced a mechanical drive very easily. Boot and operations wait times are almost non-existent. Durability has been solid since I installed several months ago.

I am a professional software developer. This drive is one of the fastest available. I've had have 4 of these over past few years and none have failed. Highly recommended.

Great SSD that delivers much more performance than expected. Install your OS onto this bad boy and you'll be booting up in seconds. Amazing. Best Samsung product I have ever owned.

The Samsung 850 Evo is an excellent tool for my Lenovo laptop. It seems that it has made my computer work faster and is easier to navigate.Excellent value for the money

I have been building my own PCs since '98. My primary PC that is 5 years old now had a mechanical failure in the hard drive. Not a big deal, I knew what to do. The timing was right to make the jump from a HDD to a SSD. Once I had my OS, OS security updates, Internet security, Office suite, and Adobe CS suite installed I decided to check its load time (Start the tower up to the time its logged on and ready for the internet). I went from just over 5-5 1/2 minutes to 35-40 seconds, wow! All of my installed software, including the OS's performance had an enormous speed increase!! I am extremely happy with this SSD
