Used this drive to install the os on in my daughters gaming computer. I am using this in conjunction with a terabyte HDD. Works flawlessly. Instant boot times. In less than 5 seconds you are up and running.

This Samsung 850 evo is amazing with my Windows 10 desktop. It is so much better than the old mechanical hard drives. My machine now boots in 10 seconds, instead of 1-1/2 minutes. What a great improvement.

It's really quite amazing how much a SSD helps speed up older hardware. This is my second Samsung EVO 850, the first was for my desktop and this one is for my wife's laptop. No issues so far, just very usable speed!

This drive is fast and really easy to migrate too. Since Windows 10 can abuse older drives I am testing to see if these newer drives will extend the life of older Dells. So far it they are working out great.

This isn't the fastest SSD on the market, but it strikes an excellent value of price/performance while being extremely reliable.

This SSD rocks! It boots like crazy, it quietly keeps doing it's job and I have never had a BIOS not recognize one.

I've had a similar SSD for the past 3 years and it performs as good as brand new so i decided to get this one for my girlfriend's laptop and it works perfect as usual from any Samsung SSD i've tried.

This is a SSD. Plug the thing in, and you are good to go. It has great read and write speeds, as it should being from Samsung. It doesn't light on fire with little to no warning like Samsungs other products.

Purchased the SSD to replace my 9 year old laptop's HDD. Easy to install and configure. I'm satisfied with the performance so far and would definitely recommend one to juice up an old/slow laptop.

Samsung SSDs are by far the best flash storage on the market I own 2 of them and this is my 3rd. Samsung SSDs are reliable I have not had one fail on me, if your looking for a SSDs Samsung is your best bet.

Affordable and reliable. I installed Samsung EVO SSD's in few desktops. Always utilizing Over Provisioning. Never had issues with any of them, even with the oldest one, installed few years ago. Recommended.

After review for sometime for details I finally got a fine the right hard drive that I needed to upgrade my custom gaming desktop. I see the big different when I install it. The speed is running really good.

My first time upgrading a hard drive and it was a breeze. Samsung software was easy to use just wished they would include the usb to sata cable. Greatly improved the performance of my trusty HP Elitebook!

While this is not the cheapest SSD area, the performance is great. If your system has lots of ram, you can use the Samsung Magician software to activate the rapid mode to increase the ssd performance.

My computer was doing weird things so I took it to my computer fixer and he said everything pointed to the hard drive. Replaced it with this one and all good. Very quiet, can't even hear my computer running.

If your machine is two to three years old, this is a great way to speed up your old machine and get more use from it. I've tried other products but they don't perform as well as the EVO drives.

Got this ssd for my 3 year old laptop. My laptop is faster than when it was new. It originally came with a very slow hdd. The best upgrade you can do to any computer that still running on hdd.
