I was late upgrading my MacBook with This ssD but great things happen for Those who wait. Lightning fast mac now!! And they did price match!!!

My 2008 MacBook pro was headed to the junk yard before I updated to this hard drive. Sped up the machine greatly. Definitely not to todays standards... but now makes a great media player for my apple TV

I was told that I needed a new hard drive for my computer that is less than a year old. This is smaller than the one that came on the laptop, but it's solid state, so I went with it. It fixed part of the problem I was having with the computer, but not the mouse locking up. Nor does the solid state seem any faster than the original hard drive had been. Still, I needed to replace the one I had, so it works. I've had it for a couple of months, and I am satisfied with how it's working. It seems the problems I have are related to the laptop itself.

This is my first SSD. I really should have gotten one sooner. If you've done any sort of research or read any reviews you know this is an excellent choice and great value for your money. These go on sale quite often so get one and you'll be happier for it.

I replaced existing 128GB Intel SSD which I installed few years back. I I connected it with USB-to-SATA adapter, but my laptop (hp 2010 with windows 7) could not recognize it. I googled and lot of people had the same issue with Samsung SSDs. I then removed the HDD from secondary bay, installed the samsung one and finished the cloning. After cloning, I replaced older SSD on bay 1 with this one. After that it was a breeze. My 7 year laptop is running as new. It is not heating as it used to be (even with intel SSD) and I've more space for data.

Super fast read and writes, win 8 boots in 6-8 seconds from being shut off, apps load instantly, definately worth it. Formats to 465GB out the box. Getting 550 read/ 540 write. And with rapid mode on 7702 read/ 6501 write with 232759 iops read / 127134 iops write

Laptop hard drive failed. This is a much better quality drive than a standard internal hard drive. Will go with solid state drives from now on. A little more expensive, but well worth it. Geek Squad was fantastic with the installation as well.

I was having a lot of problems with a fairly new laptop, very slow and locking up, I was so ready to toss it out the window. I bought this SSD drive, installed it, reloaded everything and now I have a fast laptop, actually better then new.

Original suggestion from Geek Squad was to purchase a drive with less memory. Upgraded to this to stay with the same as I had.

Dont go cheap on your hard drive, this Samsung one is a great choice even though its on the upper end of the price scale.

I have installed over 10 Samsung 850 EVO SSD's and am always pleased with the result. Samsung includes the software to easily duplicate your existing drive to the same size, larger and even a smaller drive than your original hard drive, flawlessly.

what can I say about my Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB, my computer has never run so fast, I love it..

Hello, this hard drive was easy to set up and has not given me any problems whatsoever. i wouldnt hesitate to recommend the drive.

Experienced data corruption in my business and it didn't happen all at once! Weird things began to happen! Sure i had multiple backups but it took DAYS and HOURS to recover all that messed up information! Geek Squad rocks!!!

This is one of the best SSD's you can buy and they are going on sale more lately which makes them a really good deal. I experience speedy load times in games, and just overall snappy performance in my computer since installing this SSD.

I upgraded the standard hard disk for my MacBook Pro 13" (Early 2011) five moths ago, as it started slowing down when booting up and opening any application. Really happy with this upgrade. Now my system boots up in less than 15sec.
