    Replaced the HHD in a 5 year old Vaio with this and the boot time went from five minutes to 26 seconds. Gotta love SSD's.

    Works fine. I never use the apps that come with these things so I very rarely have a problem. I create a folder and leave them in it. The backup programs are what usually cause any problems you may have. Just do your own backups or get a trusted and true program yourself. Longevity remains to be seen.

    i purchased the 500g ssd on black friday (killer deal), but returned it unused a couple of days later only because i decided that i really didn't need it. it looked and felt like a top quality product though. i will definitely purchase it in the future if i ever decide that i need a ssd for my laptop.
