Bought due to positive reviews and 5-yr warranty to replace a tablet 5400 rpm HDD with i5 CPU and Windows 10 Using Samsung migration software and a USB adapter, took 2-1/4 hrs to clone 135GB with a USB 2.0 connection without issues. Booted up after having to press F1 key. No problems since. Considerably faster than the HDD and system now very responsive. Would highly recommend.

I purchased this as a performance upgrade in conjunction with an operating system upgrade and did not disappoint. File transfer was effortless and laptop functions like new. This sure beat shelling out more money for a new laptop.

Bought this SSD to replace the mechanical drive in my PS4 and my oh my... what a world of a difference it made! Boot times and considerably shorter now and switching in and out of apps are a breeze! Would recommend this drive to anyone looking to upgrade their 2.5" hard drives!

If you are thinking of putting your operating system on an old 7200rpm hard disk drive, DON'T! My windows 10 on my SSD boots up in 6 seconds. 500GB is plenty of storage and by the time you get close to filling it up you can splurge for the 1TB drive. For storage a 7200 hard drive will be ok but make sure your OS is on the SSD!

This hard drive functions as advertised. Changing from a traditional hard drive to a Solid State drive did increase my computer performance. It would have increased my performance even more, however I have an older SATA controller and could not get full benefits. I would buy another one if needed.

So my computer was running slow, again, and I was having problems with it freezing up, curser not moving etc. I figured if I was going to wipe my drive clean I might as well try a SSD. WOW! Its like I have a new computer, it boots up FAST, none of the old problems and is running great.

My new Dell originaly with 1 TB hd was a little bit slow. After the exchange to the new EVO (I suggest download the last software instead use the included CD) it runs smothly and needs less power saving battery at least 20% less.

I put this into a MacBook Pro (mid-2009) that has a SATA-II connection. It worked very well, and sped up the Mac a lot. It runs at the full SATA-II speed, so the concern about SATA-III drives dropping to SATA-I speeds isn't a problem.

I didn't think an SSD would make sure a huge impact. I now use my laptop more frequently since it's able to book in a mere few seconds.

I was looking to speed up my PC, in this SSD just did it.My windows is loading up for 15 second, my Photoshop or light room software - 5 seconds. Already using it for a year and so far i don't have any problems with it

This drive is so fast, I upgraded my OS drive with this, using the Samsung Clone software, and it works perfectly. My start up time with windows, went from at least 2 minutes to almost instant. Great drive, great price.

I purchased this to replace the main hard drive in a Dell Precision workstation that had crash. Easy install and now programs such as Photoshop open much faster. Would definitely get again.

The Samsung instructions are easy to understand and the included Data Migration Cloning Software and performance enhancing Magician software worked perfectly. Made the installation a breeze. The system is so much faster now. Don't forget you will need the SATA to USB connector cable that is not included so you can clone to the new drive externally before installing in place of the existing HD.

Run it on a docking station as an external for my Xbox one. Games installed on it run better and fast loads.

if you want a trouble free ssd to installed to your desktop or laptop. this is it. easy installation, no problem what so ever. You will have a new pc in no time. highly recommended.

solid state hard drive with no moving parts, great for replacement. Sturdier than the original and faster too.

Put this into my 2012 MacBook Pro loading speed greatly improved over factory. Great price as well.
