I only use Samsung drives for SSD in my business. They have worked great and so far (knock on wood) there have been 0 failures!

I've read good things about this SSD and I am not disappointed. It was easy to install and migrate my old hard drive over.

Use the software that came with drive and copied w7 to new drive. Booted ssd and everything worked. Fastest I seen w7 boot.

This Samsung ssd is the Fastest SSD I ever used, and I have used 6 ssd's mainly INTEL. The read and write speeds are 500 M/bs on a 6Giga bit interface. It has a 5 year warranty, but really should last about 15 to 25 years at a 10 gigabits writes to it per day, before it has taken too many write cycles and wears out, that is assuming there is no electrical failure of the components. I would definitely purchase again. There views for this ssd show great speeds and reliability.

I bought it few days ago, I really like it. High recommend for everyone. It work great at my laptop. So useful.

Reinstalled my OS on this from my Toshiba 2TB HDD and whamo! Much much faster startup time and response time.

Great performance both read and write, and expect the dependability that comes with Samsung products.

The Samsung units do not fail. I have purchased hundreds and regularly go to best buy when I run out of them. I then make sure I consult as many websites online prior to purchase so I can have them price match whatever companies are magically listed in the cash register. B&H photo is on that list, but don't expect them to honor other large e-commerce sites like AAAwave, NCPIX, etc. Still can get $5-15 savings just by looking.

No issues. Super fast. Have had SSDs for the past couple years. Couldn't go back.

This was my first try at installing an ssd drive. If my existing HD had not been formatted as a dynamic drive, all would have been fine. Also my MB was old enough that it did not have full ssd support. I am very happy with the drive just be sure your system is ready for an ssd. If that is the case, I recommend this drive it comes with install and maintenance software as well.

Solid, reliable SSD for the price. I kind of regret not getting the 1TB

Great, super fast SSD. Computer boots in under 10 seconds.

I purchased this drive as my primary boot drive in a media PC build. Installation was quick easy and worked perfectly; my computer speed was noticeably faster even on a 3Gb/s SATA ACHI interface. Unfortunately almost 40 days to the hour after purchase the computer said windows is unavailable, upon reboot the SSD was no longer seen in bios or by my laptop after installing it into a usb 3.o external case. Currently working on getting it replaced by Samsung as Best Buy says it will not replace it because it is only covered by manufacturer. Great Deal.

I have had countless hard drives over the years and many solid-state drives, and nothing has responded as quickly and consistently as the Samsung 850 series. I have not tried the 950 pro yet but I imagine it's even better!

This is more as a flash drive more then a harddrive so it last longer and work as its best.

The amount of space for the price I paid, beats everything on the market. I did have to buy a bracket for install it in the desktop. Great price for a great product!

First off no problems with the SSD except I would use free TODO software to migrate your files, Samsungs software errors out everytime I tried to migrate my OS drive, which worked the first time on TODO. I would rarely say something bad about Best Buy, but this has literally been the worse experience for buying an item from them. A free $60 game is a big deal in my opinion but everytime I call I get the same run around to wait 24 hrs and we will email you a code, well its been 5 days now and after 5 or 6 calls later, still not resolved. Maybe they shouldn't say it usually takes an hour then. Directly from the bestbuy.com website for this item! The drive is fine. Samsung is horrible. Created an account to register for warranty and immediately got an email error. Logged in with Google, got an email conflict. Called 1 800 Samsung and was told they only handled Seagate and to call Samsung ????. Tried email, but it kept telling me I could use hyphens and ( ) in my phone number. I used them! It wouldn't accept the form. I tried to chat, but hard drives aren't on the list of topics. I created a different account with a different email and finally go my product registered. This all took about an hour. This is my first and last Samsung purchase.
