Easy to use

Tv instructions to hang easy, remote not much info but if you own a Samsung its very straight foward. Remote does not have a ton of buttons but doesnt short in function.

No Power to TV after 2 Weeks

I noticed some glitches with the sound but just thought it was something that would work itself out. Then came the power loss to the tv. The tv wouldn’t turn in, there was no red power light on. I thought it was my outlet so I changed outlets a few times, ensuring the corresponding outlet was working, no luck. Then I thought maybe it was the power cable so I tried a new power cable, no luck. I called Samsung to troubleshoot and none of their suggestions worked. Still unsure of what the issue is but I will be returning the TV. Bummer.

Scheduled geek squad to see if tv can be repaired, it’s going on a month and still haven’t seen a technician. Some of the worst service ever.

Disappointing

I’ve loved all my previous Samsungs but this one does really bad with dark/night time scenes, where you can’t even make out things sometimes, I’ve played with all the settings and it’s to no avail.

Thank you for your review of the TU9010 TV. I'm sorry that you are not satisfied with the TV screen during dark scenes. You mentioned previously adjusting settings without any success; however, I am going to put down a few that you may not have tried.
For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.
Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings.
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.
Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too-bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution > Ambient Light Detection.

Very Disappointed

Now we’ll have to wait one week get the repair done as I was expecting guestyon weekend and we’ll have broken TV. Very disappointed.
