Bought this for my PlayStation 4 and it works great. There is a definite improvement in loading times and overall game performance compared to the original Hard-Drive that came with my PS4. There are newer SSD’s that are a bit faster (and pricier) than this one, so this is a good budget option for anyone looking to speed up their PS4 without spending a lot. Highly recommend.

I bought this to replace an older drive that was beginning to show signs of wear. I didn't want my computer to fail so I decided to replace it with this SSD because it's faster than a HDD. The prices for SSDs are lowering and becoming more affordable too. The transfer of data from one drive to the other was very easy using the Samsung Magician software. I would definitely recommend this product.

From what I can tell, this is the best SSD I could buy for my Mac Mini...My original HDD went out and I wanted to replace it with an SSD. I was going to get a cheap one for 120gb, $22. But decided I would want the best I could get and a larger size. Went with 500gb Samsung. Works great. Mac Mini is faster on boot up and during day to day activity vs new. Highly recommend making this upgrade. I'm running a 2012 Mac Mini.

So far, I haven’t had any problems with with this hard drive. It’s fast, quite, and easy to install.

The SSD is great, but the migration software makes this the easiest way to migrate from a traditional spinning disk to an SSD regardless of the size of either. Ive used Kingston, Crucial, Western Digital, and some NoName SSDs and the Samsungs are the king. Mac or PC ive never had a problem. Remember to enable TRIM if migrating from a spinning disk on a mac! Very Important

Boy this makes a difference. I put one in a computer almost 10 years old and if feels brand new. Boots up faster, loads faster, just does everything faster. Although you get less storage for the price the speed makes up for the reduction in storage. Plus external drive are cheap so your probably better off getting on of those for all your pictures, video and music.

After switching from a 7200rpm Hard drive, i've never seen better performance. My Computer boots up in less than 5 seconds and opening applications is as fast as lighting. my only issue was transferring my data and then selecting which hard drive to boot from. after trying everything, i just removed the old hard drive and formatted it. Then reinstalled it and the motherboard recognized the SSD as the operating system

I love the Samsung SSDs. I've purchased, maybe 10, over the last couple of years...and I've had no trouble with them whatsoever. I like the explanatory support...and the cloning software. Many SSDs are less expensive...but, they're just 'bare' drives. This particular SSD was on sale...subject to check, I believe it was $40 off (making it $50!)

The Samsung 860 Evo is the best SSD you can buy. I could not pass up the opportunity to buy 2 of these at a great Black Friday price. I was waiting all year for the price to drop. I tried one of my drives in my PS4 Slim and ran quieter and a little faster than the regular hdd since the SSD has no moving parts. Now I am just waiting for the 1tb to drop in price, then I will buy that one.

The hard drive on my 3 year Toshiba laptop was showing signs of failing so after some research and the recommendation of the Best Buy salesman I chose the Samsung. Installation was fast and easy. A perfect fit. Then the Samsung migration software was easy to use and worked great. I had to leave it running overnight probably due to the old hard drive being on it's last leg. Now my old Toshiba works better than new!

Do not think twice. Go get it. You will not regret this purchase. My 2012 XPS laptop became slow over the years and finally my hard drive started showing signs of age. Couldn’t believe how fast my laptop has become after I replaced my normal HDD with SSD. Its now boots and performs like my macbook. So happy with my decision. Old laptop got a new life.

This SSD was an amazing improvement to my older Mac book pro. It is now blazing fast I feel like I have a completely new machine. Well worth the investment over buying a new computer. To take full advantage make sure to max out your memory. Together that combo is unstoppable. The geek squad did all the work and did an amazing job in a limited amount of time. Highly recommend them doing the work if you want it done right.

Bought this SSD for a new Desktop build. Works excellent but had to purchase an specific 3.5 to 2.5 mount which Best Buy also sells for about $10. PC boots up very quickly and very happy with it. I also purchase SSD for another 5 year old Desktop PC and works great. My PC specs are AMD Ryzen 2700x EVGA 1070 SC black edition 32gigs of Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO Memory ASUS Prime X470-Pro AMD EVGA 600w PS

I was in a time crunch and picked up two of these drives at Best Buy to install as a RAID1, on a work PC. All HDD's that I've purchased are these Samsung SSD's and they have never failed me, in fact, I have a 7-year-old PC that is still going strong with one of these drives. I swear by these and have not used any other brands since.

I had a wd disc drive and an asus mb. The computer became very slow and glitchy. I considered spending the big $$$ to get a whole new system even tho money is tight. However, I invested in a new solid state drive and a nighthawk router. Whoaa! Now lightening fast! Boot up lighting fast and instantaneous in delivery. It is like the sun came out on a dark day!

Swapped out the mechanical (spinning disks) hard drives in both of my teenagers ASUS i3, 4gb memory, Windows 10 laptops. The Samsung 860 EVO improved performance for OS boot up time and a faster experience when navigating windows. Swapping out the drives was easy. I followed Samsung’s instructions guide out of box for disk cloning. Also, used an external USB 3 hard drive dock.

I built my wife a desktop PC a year or so ago and used HDD I already had. It was slow to boot though so I decided to upgrade to an SSD. I am glad I did - the boot time was reduced by 80%. The copy/clone software it comes with worked fine for me. After cloning I just swapped out HDD with SSD and desktop started with no issues. My case already had slot for SSD so didnt need to get a conversion from 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 inch.
