Was in need of some extra storage space for my PC. Managed to see this was on sale for a good deal off and had to grab it. Had it installed shortly after and more than doubled my original storage space. Moving files is quick, even for my older motherboard and processor. Knowing well that Samsung made a quality and reliable product since my main ssd is also a Samsung.

I bought this internal ssd to replace my old ps4 hdd that was running slow now it runs better like new with more storage

I bought 8 of these for use in a server. They perform incredibly well and are very reliable. I’ve had no isses and been very pleased with them.

Added this drive for my digital Movies and TV shows. Works great. Transfer speeds are fast from one SSD to Another Moved 1.22gb in less than six seconds. From SSD to HDD same file was done in just under eight seconds. I also added on to an external case and speeds are still on point with USB-C connection.

I won't never expect to get scammed via BEST BUY Everywhere it says 4TB 870EVO but system only sees as 2TB drive. S/N's on box and on SSD(via system) won't match. I want a return/replace.

As a user of Hard Disk Drivers for many years I'm satisfied and glad I switched to Solid State Drives. Not only are they more reliable than HDDs they're a lot faster and perform better. I mainly purchased this drive for gaming because I would get slow load times and terrible performance with my games on my Seagate Ironwolf HDD. I was playing Assassin's Creed Origins the other day and it takes 6 seconds for the game to load to the title screen and another 6 seconds to load into the game. That's incredible. When I transfer data onto this drive I get 570 mbps even sometimes 600 mbps speeds on this drive. Be sure to download the Samsung Magician software. It has perfomance features for you can optimize your drive, you can check the drive's healthy, and you can even update the drive with the latest firmware. Do not settle for Crucial, PNY, or any other SSD brand, go with Samsung.

Nearly plug N play. Great price for an SSD storage drive. Plug it in to SATA 3.0,, find it in "drive management", format to NTFS, and it pops up in File Explorer. Ready to use. Note: this did NOT come with any screws or brackets.

So nice to have a bunch of space can have multiple AAA modern games (2025) without haveing to fight for space. Little pricey but better then having two tb ssd

Needed an additional fast SSD to complete a build. Online retailers were cheaper, but BestBuy had it in stock and was able to price match. Drive exactly as expected and conveniently available. Would recommend.

I have several 980's NVME, and about 5 EVOs. This is the largest for an SSD. I ONLY purchase Samsung. I spoke with a SanDisk (now Wester Digital) rep a few years back and he said the Samsung was using a better technology. They may have caught up, but these all work great. I blew out 2 large WD Black drives with a power surge--but my two SSDs survived. Be aware--if you do delete data, it is near impossible to restore--vs a spinning drive. Best Buy was by far the best price when I picked this up--not even on a deal of the day. Not as fast as the NVME drives--but that's common.

Overall, this 4TB SSD is a game-changer. It’s an investment, but if you need speed, space, and reliability, it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!
