Samsung SSD drives are so dependable and easy to install usIng Samsung Magician.

A few weeks out and this HD has my computer purring. The reason I had to get it was my computer's original SSD was gradually deteriorating and straight-up died earlier that day. While reinstalling everything was a pain, the computer feels completely new even though the only part I changed out was the SSD.

This turned my 4 year old Asus 1 tb computer into a lightning fast productivity center. I swapped the 1 tb hhd for a 500 gig ssd and you wouldn’t believe the difference

Purchased this drive to use as an external windows drive on my old MacBook Pro. Using the standard NTFS format on one partition and ex fat on another an this drive boots and runs almost a fast as the smaller ssd drive in the laptop . Very satisfied with this drive and believe I may soon get another

this item has helped my laptop run faster and correctly when it used to skip and the arrow would jump and the email I was writing would disappear. It's so nice to be able to use it once again.

I swapped a defect 1T mechanical Tosiiba HD for this 500 GB SSD -- It is virtually instant load of Win10 -- used to take up to 3-5 minutes. The Geek service took less than a day. Just like having a new machine. Should have done this years ago instead of trying to save the old. And it was economical.

It's just the best SSD on the market and you can use there free software to transfer over your data. I bought at least 10 samsung SSD, only one as every failed over the years.

I had the geek squad install this in my ASUS laptop, faster speeds and added life to a laptop I already love. With my Total Tech membership installation was free. Highly recommended and tons cheaper than buying a new machine!

I have been buying the Samsung 870 EVO to upgrade my customer's computers when they need a replacement hard drive for quite some time now. These drives have software that allows the user to easily migrate their system to this drive. They are also durable over the long haul. I love using them.

Using this on my new build for the past few months and have had zero issues. I've used other adds in the past and had em burn out in 2 months foe for the price and capacity of this totally worth the buy

This SSD is outstanding and works excellently. I caught the sale and now much more costly (if you can find them). Great upgrade for better performance on your desktop or laptop. You may need to perform a "repair" to get Windows to adjust the BCD after cloning the original drive.

I upgraded from a traditional spinning drive to a solid state for good reason. Samsung is a leader in electronics on so many levels. And now it takes 30 seconds to boot instead of 3 lost minutes of time.

I dont know much difference in the 870. I had a few 860 with same 500Gb in size. I cant say this is better than order version, but both model offers the same benchmark as 500mb+ read and 500mb +- write. Benchmark verys with older computers, so it does run fast as spec said +-.
