Bought this to replace the 500gb mechanical HDD on my 2018 asus netbook. The computer was getting so slow that I thought I was going to have to buy a new laptop. I heard about SSD but was kind of skeptical if it would even make a difference on my low end Laptop. After cloning my OS and installing the drive into my computer, I noticed a difference almost right away and was able to squeeze some extra life into my computer! I highly recommend everyone to replace their mechanical HDD with SSD as they are faster,more efficient and quieter.

Product (SSD drive) performs to its specifications and the price was very competitive. The big plus for me was to get the drive as soon as I needed it. No waiting for delivery.

Upgraded the disk in a backup laptop I have. This was faster and larger and so far has worked very well.

Had one side of an unraid cache pool die, very old ssd sata drive and needed a replacement quickly. Not only was this drive cheaper but it would arrive much quicker than the "river" name online store without paying a yearly fee. Yeah learned something today!

I bought Samsung 870 EVO hard drive to upgrade my laptop. Installation was easy, Data Transfer software was very easy to use. Results are outstanding. This upgrade made huge improvement to my laptop and I am very happy I did it.

One if the best SSD's available in the market. I have purchased several of these in the past and while there a bit more expensive they are definitely worth it. I would recommend this drive if reliability is very important to you.

I've installed 10 of the Samsung EVO SSD's, replacing old HDD's. Using the Samsung Data Migration software makes cloning the old drives really easy. They have brought new life to old Dell computers.

I upgraded my Dell SFF to an SSD with this Samsung 870EVO. Now my 5 year old pc is working fast as if I just bought it. The low price and easy migration is a selling point for me.

So far I have had no problems with the solid state drive and it is significantly faster than my old drive. I am pleased I made the change and would only consider a solid state drive in the future.

This drive really brought a three year old used laptop I was setting up for a friend with an abysmally slow 1TB hard disk to life. Previously it took over a minute to enable the start button after login to launch apps and very long to open most apps and after it. Clocked a win10 feature update at over 5 hours. No the drive did not fail any SMART tests, it was just a crappy slow OEM drive. Afterward, it took under a second to where I could use the computer and had near instant app loading.
