The 1 TB worked from the start. Try the 500 on a second computer nothing. Exchanged the bad on for another same story. Decided to give it on more try. The 3rd one worked the way I expected the first two should have.

Bought it for my PS3 & HP Omen 30L

Cant recommend it enough

The first has been in service for 2 to 3 years, and had been locked up by an "online service professional Geek impostor" who tried to rob me of $2500 by fraud actions. The Geek Squad was able to restore my computer. The second computer is several years older and is currently being used for Family Tree purposes. It needed a replacement hard drive. It is now working very well.

Used this to replace a 7200rpm hdd on a Asus G751JL. Load times were very fast both in boot up time an opening applications.
