It is a solid as, I installed it in my PS5 and I had zero issues. The speed has increased a lot on my PS5. I would recommend it for anyone who would need an SSD especially on a ps5 or a pc.

The 970 evo is a lighting fast SSD that fits in any m.2 slot of your motherboard, the people at Best Buy were friendly and patient and helped me pick the drive that was right for me.

For $54.99 it would be silly for you to not take advantage of Best Buy’s deal on this SSD. Considered the 980 because of the sale too, but went with the 970 to save $50 and glad I did. Games download incredibly fast and have a minimal wait for starting up games as well. Highly recommend buying and well worth the sales price.

Purchased as a secondary storage drive for a new Acer Predator 16 Neo. The drive installed easily and after boot, it was immediately recognized in Drive Manager. A couple clicks later it was formatted and functioning perfectly. Very happy with purchase.

I love this M.2 SSD. I used to have to keep my PC on, and put to sleep so I would not have to wait so long to start using my PC. But when I built a PC from scratch, I bought this and boot times are less than 1 minute!

Fast, used external enclosure with usb-c for my ps5 and works fine for ps4 games only, but will not work inside the ps5 for 5 games. Not gen 4. Id buy the 980 if you have the choice now days.

The laptop and software starts-up in a short time. I was going to buy myself another laptop before using Samsung - 970 EVO Plus 1TB.

I purchased the Samsung 970 evo plus M.2 to complement my Gigabyte Aorus PCIe 4.0 drive. I have to say they drive holds its own when it comes to read/write speeds. Bestbuy has this drive at a great price, and is worth every penny I highly recommend this M.2 drive.

I needed more storage for games. I have the 2 500gb and was running low so was planning on getting another 500 but BestBuy had a sale on the 970's cause the 980's were out so went ahead I got this 1TB. Running on MSI Ace z390 MB.

Exactly as advertised and works flawlessly. Make sure you have spare hardware to install it because it does not come with a standoff or screw, something I learned the hard way.

Best SSD I have ever owned. Hands down, if you need an SSD upgrade, you cannot go wrong with this one. I recommend you download the software Samsung Magician, which is made for these type of SSDs, as well as 2.5 SSDs. I will attach a picture showing the speeds.

I Just finished my second Ryzen Build and I don't want to deal with slow spin-disk drives so I decided to go SSD onboard and give it a try. I mostly game, do home office work, and media production from this build so 1 tb is good for me. I'm thinking of buying a larger one for my gaming side.
