It did everything that it was supposed to do. Only issues is that it doesn't come with program for moving info over.

Solid SSD

If you are still running Harddrives in your machine this will be a huge upgrade for you in speed and loading times. Definitley recommend for the price. Wish i would have gotten the 2tb model though.

First time doing a m.2 ssd, the person at Best Buy really helped me figure out which one, and explained pros and cons. Very very easy to install !

Reliable storage option

And certainly cannot go wrong with Samsung's silicon. They have an excellent track record. While this thing won't be winning any speed contest (gen3x4, up to 3k MBps writes), it is a reliable way to add storage (600 TBW, 5yr warranty). And I enjoy their "heat spreader" label. Gotta cool the beast.

Had problems getting it working but that was an Alienware issue not a Samsung issue. Using it as my primary sad on my laptop. Runs fast and great so far.
