    This works well with my new motherboard's 3.0 slot. Paired it with a 980 Pro in a 4.0 slot and wow, transfers music at 2gbs. I'm used to 100mbs, so wow.

    For the price and speed upgrade I got out of it is perfect. My boot time from an HHD to this m.2 is times 10 I used to wait about 10 seconds or so for chrome to open to it now opening the second I click it. Games load faster so it's a good investment for gamers and people who just don't want to wait the extra few seconds for boot times.
