I bought this at a great price. It fit perfectly in my PS5. Very easy-to-use, just plug and play. My PS5 recognized it and even labeled it as a 980Pro Ssd 2 TB with heatsink. To-date it has worked flawlessly and I am no longer moving games from my external HDD to console. The PS4 games stay on the SSD and I've moved my PS5 titles to borh console and M.2 SSD storage. I am very pleased with my purchase and wirh Best Buy.

Zero complaints! If you're an OG gamer, you may know the past hoops of swapping out hard drives from past consoles. Lets just say hoops are a thing or the past. You will have this new hard drive installed in minutes. Dont waste the extra money for the Sony branded Hard drive. Buy this one instead and use the extra money on a new game! Highly Recommend!

Installed it on my PS5- super fast load and easy to install! Heatsink was biggest selling point!

Bought two of these, one 1tb and one 2tb for my ps5 and computer. Meets spec demands for the ps5 and the heatsink works very well. On pc, i couldn't put my mobo nvme cover on, but the heatsink is better than the cover for thermals anyway. Price to performance (at the time, i got this for $100 2tb/$60 1tb) exceeded price to performance of the 990 pro. (1tb was $109, 2tb was $200). Would buy more

This hard drive is great. It was super simple to install in my 1st generation PS5. I love that I have the freedom to add games to my library without having to constantly games that require a lot of gigabytes & later reinstall them when I want to play them.

The installation was simple and it ran extremely smoothly at a great price. The only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star just cause people might think it’s a bot writing this review but overall it’s perfect. Also that you have to be careful when installing but that’s the case with any extended storage.

If you're frustrated by running out of available storage space, and can't download any additional games, this is exactly what you need. It took all of 3 minutes to install, and immediately added 2 TB of additional space. From the settings menu, tou can very easily moves files from console storage to this SSD. You can also tell the PS5 where you want the default storage location to be.

Saw this was on sale and just didnt want to pass up on a nice storage upgrade for my PS5 especially with thr heatsink already part of the m.2. Pops right in and coupdnt have been a smoother install process. I typically always stick with samsung for all my harddrives and habent ever had an issue with them.
