One of the best you can get for Gen 4. Heatsink actually works well, you can definitely feel some noticeable warmth comming from it. That being said I don't have am issue with my non heatsink version either.

It installed easily and works just fine. I installed like 10 games drom ps plus so far and i still got like 1.5tb to mess around with. Thats not even including the 700gb drive thats preinstalled with the ps5.

Got this for my PS5, the installation was very straight forward and a quick format on first start it was ready to go. Transferring the games to it was simple. Now I have tons of space. Load time for games on it is instant

So far so good. Super fast install and configuration direct through the Playstation 5 console and no heating issues. This drive has the best longevity of all the SSDs I have seen so far, so makes it a simple choice, even if not the fastest or biggest. Great bang for your buck on this one, no excessive spend.

Upgraded an older 1TB NVMe drive with this one for more storage. I appreciate the heatsink, as it helps to transfer heat away from the storage medium. You would be surprised how warm these drives get from simple, everyday use.

Very easy to install and very inexpensive compared to other brands and adds the extra (amd necessary) storage once Modern Warfare 2 and ONE other game take up the 1TB that the PS5 already comes with. Highly Recommended!

Needed an upgrade from my current 1TB. This one fit the bill great and seemed like the heat sink on this one was much better than my last one. The 2TB makes it easier to keep your games on the drive instead of downloading them.

I was all like dang wb black is wildly expensive but I get it technology costs money. The I found this little fella and holy moly. So much cheaper and just as rad! I've had no problems I downloaded so many games!

Super fast and got it for $209.99. Was going to use in my pc as i already have one 2tb 990 pro in my system but I did not have the compatible screw to put it on my motherboard so I added it to my ps5 and will pick up another minus the heat sink the next time they are on sale.

A great way to expand hard drive storage for the PS5! Very easy to install in my PS5, even though I’m not super handy. Highly recommended if you need to store more games on your PS5, which you almost certainly will considering the low amount of onboard hard drive space.

After 3 years of use, I finally decided I needed an SSD for my PS5. Not only for the speed but most of all for the space/storage. I've had this thing installed in my PS5 for a week and it's absolutely amazing. No regrets whatsoever!

Easy to install and really great add on for my PS5. Reading speed before updating firmware is approximately 5700 mb/s, I might think about go ask for help from bestbuy to update it, making the ssd reach faster at 6500-6700 mb/s later. Btw the price is pretty good and quality strikes as well
