Watched a couple videos on YouTube and it was simple. All you need besides what’s included is a small screwdriver. I picked one up from under $5 on Amazon. Some sites were saying you need to do a software update before installing but you don’t. Was plug and play and get same quick loading as the internal PS5 memory. Highly recommended.

Install was straight froward and games loaded very quickly. Cheaper than some alternatives and I think it's a great middle ground on being not the most expensive and not the cheapest either. Samsung has been a reliable brand when it comes to SSDs. I've bought other Samsung SSDs for laptops and i've been happy with it.

Would recommend watching installment videos on YouTube to get a good look at how to install storage device properly and to make sure to have the exact size screw driver to avoid damaging the screws.

After some light reading, it had come down to this unit vs the WD black. But I opted for this once because it was a complete set, memory and heat sink.

It is very fast to transfer all my games. I had an external hard drive and it would take forever to transfer the games from the system and the hard drive. Would definitely recommend this to my friends.
