My first fore into PCIE gen 4 drives. previously, I have upgraded my CPU to the top of the line. i have upgraded my GPU to the top of the line but I never got that gaming experience that i always wanted. Going from a regular 560mb/s SSD to this 7400mb/s NVME was the missing piece. My games looks incredible, textures are sharp, no stutters, particle effects and physx are just amazing. i fired up Spiderman at max setting 1440p with Raytracing max. it runs smooth like butter and raytracing looks amazing. This gen 4 Nvme was the missing piece of my gaming puzzle and has mad my 4080 super finally step up. Highly recommend for any gamer, just buy it.

Great sad drive. Very fast loading of windows and the amount of storage is perfect.

The best decision i have made is to purchase this for my pc more room for my pc to run freely, it is easy to install and makes me feel like i have unlimited space lol oh it can get expensive so wait until it goes on sale if it ever does again.

Drive has been working great and not producing high temps. Newer drive does not seem to be suffering from the 990 Pro driver issues reporting last year. So far a big step up from the 990 Evo and previously reported issues. Works great with Windows 11 BitLocker. Notes: ---------- - Purchased for $249 - Using in a Dell XPS 9530 - Drive does not always show on the BB website when searching for 4TB NVME SSDs; had to specifically search for the drive name / model - Install the Samsung Magician software and make sure drivers are updated; use software to monitor performance

Quick easy install of a snappy m.2 i should of done this years ago

Great speeds and an obviously incredible capacity, recommend for users who need a lot of speed and capacity on their storage. May be harder to install for users who don’t know computers, just search m.2 installation tutorials and you should be set

An excellent deal and much more space than I needed. If I had a newer laptop, I'd get PCIe 4 speeds which are twice as fast than gen 3. In other words, I'm keeping this hard drive when I upgrade in the future.

This is a very good and reliable m.2, it runs just as fast as my 990 pro and was much cheaper when i got it.

This is an excellent performing SSD at a great price. I used it in a Gigabyte motherboard and am having no problems. Samsung's Magician software makes it easy to keep an eye on reliability and temperature information and to make sure the SSD firmware is up to date.

I was able to get this thing on sale which made it an easy buy, especially since these have been hard to find in stock, so i was happy to be able to score it. I added this to my AMD gaming machine which had a nearly full 2TB drive. The install was easy of course, like other NMVe drives. Make sure you buy a heat sink, otherwise these will likely run a little too hot. Before using this new ssd i did a full read test which passed perfectly and very fast. I havent seen the 7,200+ speeds yet but upper 6s. Overall, a great drive with a great warranty, well known to last.

My pc needed more storage as I restore lots of historical photos and my new 4 TB pc was going to fill up fast and Best Buy recommended adding this drive to my PC to double my space! Glad they sid

Other than the fact that it doesn't come with the little screw to hold in in place in case your slot didn't have one already it is everything one can hope for. I already filled up half my cards memory on games that I previously had to delete, to make room for new releases.

I managed to grab this 4TB NVMe at a discounted price. I've been specifically looking for a Gen 5x2 NVMe because my motherboard has an M.2 slot that shares PCIe 5 lanes with USB 4. Going with a 5x2 drive would be a cost-effective choice—though this was just my own assumption. The NVMe performs well overall, though random read/write speeds might be slightly slower due to it being DRAM-less. However, this doesn't have a significant impact on everyday use. Overall, it's a solid choice for the price.
