This drive is incredibly fast and very easy to install. It has made my new small form factor pc fly. Has DRAM cache, a major plus. Will buy more of these drives in the future.

If you have a computer, expansion is always a day away! Since I like to tinker with a lot of programs, my 500GB 980EV is still doing the job but I'm down to about 100GB free and playing around with new stuff. So to be safe for space, I cloned and upgraded to this as the boot drive. Working well so far.

The Samsung 990 PRO 1TB Internal SSD PCle Gen 4x4 NVMe certainly delivers on speed, and it's a noticeable upgrade from your standard hard drive. Applications open with a snap, and file transfers are impressively swift. However, it's not without its quirks. The setup can be a tad finicky for the uninitiated, and the software leaves room for improvement in terms of user-friendliness. That said, if you're after a reliable SSD with a strong balance of speed and storage, this Samsung option is worth considering, though it won't be winning any design awards anytime soon.

I like this Samsung SSD, it works well and the speed is also good. Pretty easy to install and nothing could beat the Samsung 990 PRO.

Great Piece Of Hardware! Instantly worked with my pc, great loading speeds across the board, and as someone who games, great experience. I would gladly get another with even more storage.

Product works great … I’m hoping this will last for a long time . But it’s in the future . So fingers crossed .

My second one of these. Good NMVe but seems to be picky about which slot on Intel chipset MB's. I have to agree with others who have said that they are somewhat over-rated and a tad overpriced. I'd still buy these over a cheaper/lower quality one though. Would probably go 4.5 instead of 4, but not 5 stars.

It is definitely worth having extra space and speed in a ssd as i went from a 512 gb to a faster 1 tb drive.

Work great in PCs an most SBCs. They're not compatible with some NVME Hats on Pi5s. For fast PCs get the integrated heat sink. I also like the 980 Pros.

Works well out the box and Samsung is always great with sustainability/reliability.

After using several different brands of SSDs, I can confidently say that I always come back to SAMSUNG’s 990s for their quality (and SAMSUNG Magician).
