It was mildly tricky installing it because of never done that before, but that's on me. Once installed, works well. Pretty fast OS load now. Hopefully it has the longevity I'm hoping for.

I've had this SSD installed on my laptop for about 2 months now. No complaints, works as intended. I download a bunch of games and they download fast(not sure if this product is responsible for that) and my games boot up fast and have low loading wait times.

We needed additional storage on our desktop and based on a recommendation from our tech expert, we purchased the Samsung - 990. It has provided us with ample space for all of our graphic and gaming software needs.

I got a great price on this very good M.2 SSD. I purchased it to put into a laptop for gaming - to store the games. Man, this thing is fast and just an all-around great value!

It is so fast that I have no way to push it except to copy things from and to itself. I have it running off of the chipset pcie and am still getting 3500MB/s I know it is faster off of the CPU PCIE bus, but at this point I wouldnt even notice the diff. 100% recommend.

This was not my original choice, but Best-Buy lost the (lower priced) one that I purchased online. The locker door would not open when I went to pick up the SSD and a Power Supply that I'd bought so I had to go into the store to sort it out. Best-Buy replaced the "lost" SSD that they could not find with this one and did not charge me the full price for the 990 Pro. Even though it took WAY to long, I must commend Best-Buy for the way that they handled the error and for "upgrading" me to this SSD.

Great SSD for the price! Really easy to install and the Samsung Magician software for migrating an existing HDD to the new SSD was very useful.

I really needed to upgrade the SSD that came in my ROG Strix G18 laptop and this was a no-brainer. Long time user of Samsung's SSD line, whether it be the EVO or Pro, they've never let me down.

If your internet provider gives you at least 1 GB/s speed you will be able to download things extremely quick. Very cheap for the amount of storage.

Using this for my PS5, and it was simple to install. Speeds are close to the manufacturer specs. Games that take advantage of the SSD load very fast. No corruption issues as of yet. Possibly in the future, i will look into the 4tb equivalent.
