I've been using Samsung ssds in builds for years, they are reliable and continue to perform above their competitors. Even though this is a gen 4 drive its barely below gen 5. Waiting to see what Samsung does next.

Ill never play a game without something this fast again. All those 4 or 5 minute load times add up. This loads and transfers a fraction of that. Down to 15 seconds tops load time.

The item you need to have more games for your pc, and better speed to open games.

I would highly recommend switching to an M.2 SSD for a huge increase in overall computer speed.Many clients i have upgraded tell me they never thought their computer could run so fast, better than new!

This thing so far has been amazing what my PS5 needed! Have not had any issues what so ever so far. And Sony made it super easy to insall unlike the ps4.

If you’re shopping for this than you’re most likely looking at the speed and are already aware of how fast the king of M.2 drive is. This guy is smoking fast. Probably wont experience it too much if you just play video games , a few seconds during loading screen js probably the most you get. If you dig a littlw deeper you will fins that this thing also has UP TO less than 20% power draw during read/write function! 5.0 vs 6.2W! That means , you are saving power, which was important to me as im putting this into my laptop. So yes, all the other reviews talk about the speed, but the little icing on top is the decreased power draw, increasing the battery life if you are plugging this into a laptop! For just a few dollars more than the 980!

I was recommended this by an employee on site. Despite my initial hesitation given its horrendous beginnings, it had received the firmware required to be a competitive drive for the price. It's my boot drive for my laptop, and I have yet to encounter issues.

Upgraded my new laptop for storage...The drive is faster than my hardware can manage but the price was great and I can possibly use it in another machine and get the full use of its speed.

Probably the fastest SSD i have ever used. Verifying games on steam and or moving games inside steam or computer software is very fast and takes little to no time. I highly recommend.
