got an insane deal on this for about 200 bucks and put it in my Alienware r14 x2 with AMAZING results. Use Samsung Magician software for the easiest install. The speed increase from the stock 512gb ssd that is in the x14 r2 is INCREDIBLE. it is like a new laptop was born!

This is, in my opinion, the best gen 4 NVME SSD out there. It has excellent TBW, speed and temps. What more could you ask for? I've slowly been trying to acquire 6 of these to put into a Flashtor NAS. I'm on number 3 of 6. I'll keep looking for deals!

Delivers exactly what it specifies! Love all the storage I could ever want in my laptop now--especially not needing to manage space for any of my games, drawing files, etc. After using this as a boot drive and re-imaging my computer, once Windows 11 has its way with it, you get little over 3.6 TB left, which is perfectly fine by me.

These Samsung SSDs are the best IMHO. PAssmark test rated them quite high, and they have blended well into my build.

There's an issue that's non reversable with the speed something is causing them to get half or less than for the read and write speed and Samsung does not want to replace under warranty with the memory prices where they are currently. most people they are just blowing them off saying there arn't any available for replacement while they have some for sale from Samsung. They just don't want to allocate any for warranty clams when they can make more money selling them a such a high cost if you don't care about cost and speed go ahead but there's no guaranty how long they will last at this point in time. Sad they were my go-to drive. I do have another, but I won't put in my pc till the problem is fixed. Because after the speed is downgraded Samsung can't even fix them back to original speed or compacity they just want to replace that is if they had some more allocated to replace under warranty. I'm guessing something fries in them. and they are just saying there's nothing they can do at this point in time...

Blazing fast! I think it's quicker than my Macbook HDD. It does get hot, but anything with this kind of speed is going to.

Took a minute to figure out how to format it, but after set up is complete games run so much faster than running off of a SATA connection SSD

Good price and great performance. It's a fantastic choice for a PS5 if you get the version with a heatsink or provide your own. There's only one point of note that to be careful of-Due to an issue in older runs, you have to be careful with the version you get. Older model numbers burned themselves out more quickly than they should have. Check your version number before install.

Added to my 2024 ROG Zephyrus G16. I'm using this for storing games, premiere pro projects, and FLAC musics. The data transfers quickly, and I love it.

One of the fastest NVME consumer SSDs for PCI-E 4x4 Even with my drive almost half full I'm getting around 7GBps read and write.

990 Pro works as intended. Make sure your mobo support pcie 4.0, otherwise you wont get max transfer speed. Paid $229 during Black Friday :)
