However, this was my second one. Be sure to check and make sure the stick is correct as soon as you get it. The first stick I got in the box was a 970 512gb when it was supposed to be the 990 4tb. This was an in-store pickup at that. Had this been a Christmas present, this would have been a disaster.

SSD Drive

I had one last slot for it. It is a nice fast drive and the price was right for me. Have not had any problems with it so far.

I have had two drives with the heat sink overheat, which is exactly why they have a heat sink . But it is what it is

Beefy, speedy, hot.

Doesn't take much though. I used a lowprofile 2mm copper and its running fine in my laptop. Knocked the heat down by 20c. Knocked 1 star off because it really should be sold with a heatsink.
